This is why all the rights of succession, the inheritance, the property, the bulk of it, will go to the firstborn. Obviously, if something is the Lord's, then you're going to highly honor it by giving him the property. And the younger brothers and sisters get what is called portions, but the firstborn gets the lot, the main inheritance. The Lord says all who are first in the family are automatically his, dedicated to him.
