Well, everyone knew that's where this was headed. My biggest problem with Trump's actions are he didn't brief anyone in Congress about his plans to do this; he just went in like John Wayne and started blowing up stuff. If he can do it in Venezuela, who's next? I'm also virtually certain this is going to help Trump's bottom line somehow.

Like John Wayne, yes, but it would be inaccurate to think that Trump was not acting very, very carefully, very legitimately.

For decades we have heard about the war on drugs. President Trump is the first to have the intelligence, character, and courage to declare war on drugs. The enemies of our country....the democrats orchestrated the invasion or our country. Trump shutdown the southern border and captured Maduro.
The democrats criticize both efforts because they are for drugs and have no concern for the Americans that have died and families destroyed. For the democrats freedom means the right to be criminal and creepy. For the democrats progress means the move to communism. Now communism and atheism are being rutted out of our schools and Bibles into our schools.
Trump is about God and country and global stability, with America first. He negotiates peace all over the world to save lives and giving peoples of other countries a good and fair life. A president of common sense that has not been seen since George Washington.
The Venezuelan people now will have a good future and those Venezuelan people in our country will praise Trump and will be able to communicate with their families in Venezuela and can return to their country if they want.

His speech made it clear, exposure of American might, a message to the rest of the world, including Putin.
Now Putin can order a similar special military mission, capture Zelenski, bring him to justice for war crimes in Moscow.

Like you say LOL. With over 30,000 Protestant denominations there would be no agreement on who should be his spiritual advisor. He also has the support of Franklin Graham but I am sure there are some that do not like Franklin either. I am sure there are Christian and preachers that support drug use, illegal aliens, communism, and crime, but I don't care what they think. LOL New York city will get what it deserves.

China is pissed off over it as they had a delegation there and were there talking with Maduro over how they could team up against the USA.
Maduro had thumbed his nose at Trump and taunted him saying things like "Here I am, Come get me"
Between the bounty, the constant shipments of drugs in spite of the blockade and the unabashed taunting....I really don't know what he expected.
But it definitely put tyrannical leaders on notice. They woke up realizing that when Trump speaks he is not just spouting rhetoric. He is telling cold hard truth...whether they like it or not. (Likely not).
As a result, with taxpaying American Citizens (not voting illegals or leeching democrats) is one of the most popular presidents in 40 years.
