Well, everyone knew that's where this was headed. My biggest problem with Trump's actions are he didn't brief anyone in Congress about his plans to do this; he just went in like John Wayne and started blowing up stuff. If he can do it in Venezuela, who's next? I'm also virtually certain this is going to help Trump's bottom line somehow.

Presidents are allowed to act quickly when national security is involved. Donald Trump did not need to brief Congress in advance if doing so could risk leaks or derail the mission. That is not unusual or illegal. Presidents from both parties have done the same thing when timing and secrecy mattered.

Calling it “John Wayne” behavior is just a cheap insult. Acting decisively is part of the president’s job. Congress moves slowly on purpose. National threats do not wait for debates, hearings, or press leaks.

The line “If he can do it in Venezuela, who’s next?” is fear based, not fact based. Each action is judged on its own situation. One operation does not give a president unlimited power to attack anyone he wants. That has never been how the system works.

The claim that this helped Trump’s personal finances has no evidence behind it. No documents. No transactions. No proof. Disliking a president does not justify assigning corrupt motives without facts.
You can disagree with the decision itself. That’s fair. But calling it reckless, illegal, or self serving without evidence is not an argument. It’s just noise. I am behind what he is doing.

Wanting strong borders and less poison on American streets is not extreme. It’s common sense.

I read at one point Venezuela's inflation was at one million percent. Several years ago a reporter tried to interview a woman about how bad it was. She spoke briefly but kept looking around afraid to be arrested.

Even the hospitals didn't have supplies.
