17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, - Ephesians 4:17.

To sum up "vanity of mind" it is you doing the doing not Christ. How does that happen? Simple, scripture says you have not so learned Christ.

{The Christ you need to know is the Christ in you}

Why is that so very important? Because you cannot be who God created you to be without knowing the Christ in you-and we need to take that to the fullness of scripture and say "as your only life" because that is true and that is what a believer needs to see.

One thing scripture is very clear on is; it does not make suggestions. It does not suggest believers do or know a thing, it tells you what you need to do or know.

We can get to know Jesus and God thru his teachings (Matthew 25:31-46). But yes Christ dwells in us and we must be true to him and listen and he will give use peace and guide us in all things, but we also dwell in him. The spirit is in us and we are in the spirit. In this way we are sealed in the holy spirit against the adversary (Ephesians 1:13).

"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"
