How could you have "been there and done that too many times" with me when we've never discussed the topic of Mary the Magdalene before?
I meant discussing this subject with those of your faith who cannot see what the Bible clearly says.
For those firmly indoctrinated into the RCC, nothing presented in Scripture supersedes the teachings of your church, no matter how badly they clash with Scripture. It’s a waste of time when you know the truth and have tried in vain to expose the travesty of the false doctrines they keep promoting.
It is so to the untrained eye.
I think what you mean is the ‘unindoctrinated’ eye…..those who are “trained“ and know what the entirety of Scripture really teaches…..just shake their heads and wonder how you all could be induced to swallow that stuff….if you want a definition of indoctrination….the RCC is outstanding.
The adoration and veneration of Mary is found nowhere else, especially not in Scripture.
In the Bible there is no approval for making images for use in worship… “idolatry” was forbidden…..there was no “immaculate conception”….no “purgatory”….no “immortal soul”…no lobbying God to make someone a “saint”….no infant baptism…..no liturgy….no repetitive prayer or rosary beads…..no priests or monks or nuns in religious garb….no funny hats or expensive robes of a certain color….no pope….or exalted heirarchy….no titles…in fact nothing associated with the Catholic Church has its origins in Scripture.…even though a weak attempt is made to pretend that they are.

How on earth do you not see the idolatry?
In the Catholic Church Jesus is presented as either a helpless baby or a dead man hanging from a cross……
What is this…?
Is this the way Jesus wanted to be remembered?
God told his people not to “make any image” to be used in a religious way……where is the depiction of him as a conquering King? Hrist is not either of those things and hasn’t been for almost 2000 years!
Have you been raised in the RCC? Or did you convert?
