Genesis 6:

Was Noah's flood global?
Absolutely!

Genesis 7:17-23
17 Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth.
18 The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered.
20 The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered.
21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died.
23 So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.

Genesis 6:

Was Noah's flood global?

No, according to Barnes:

Did Noah have marsupial kangaroos in the ark?

No, according to Barnes, it was not a worldwide flood but it looked like one to Noah. As far as Noah could tell, his world died. For all intents and purposes of the redemption story, it was a catastrophic/global event: all humans died except Noah's family. That's the point.

National Center for Science Education gives more detailed calculations:

There is also a parallel Babylonian Story of the Flood written in about 1750 BC. Both stories called for a world-wide flood to destroy mankind.
Then explain how they find whale fossils on mountain tops. Study your archaeology. Scientists try and claim that mountains rose up, but we know better. We have the bible:

WHALE FOSSILS HIGH IN ANDES SHOW HOW MOUNTAINS ROSE FROM SEA (Published 1987)

Only those in the ark of CHRIST are alive and shall never die . DESTRUCTION COMETH , THE END COMES
THE TIME WRITTEN OF LONG AGO , the TIME that was foretold would come to pass ,
the last hour upon earth , the final generation that has waxed very full under a delusion of reprobation has come .
WHEN THE WICKED FLOURISH AS THE GRASS , IT IS that they will be DESTROYED .
The time has come when sin is no longer hidden but HONORED in the streets
THE TIME has come when a boy is honored if he thinks he a girl
THE TIME has come that if a man warns against such things , HE MAKES HIMSELF a prey to their teeth .
TIME IS RUNNING OUT .
AND those who hold this huge all inclusive many path rainbow and koran holding mantra
that hollers love non stop and hates the heck out biblical truth
DO so for world peace and safety ...............................the entire world is in dire trouble .

28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Does not seem to have a need to be global since man was only in a certain part of the globe.

It depends if the word being truth is important or not.

When it says the water was 15 cubits above the highest mountain and covered the whole earth.. Is it important that that be true?

When it says the water was 156 cubits about the highest mountain and covered the whole earth.. Is it important that that be true?
Let proposition P1 = Noah's flood was global.
P2 = Noah's flood was not global but regional.

Between 0 and 10, how much weight do you put on each of the above propositions? The stronger your belief in a proposition, the higher the weight.

Does it explain how the highest mountain was topped by 15 Cubits and the waters covered the whole earth, yet it was not global?
I prefaced it by saying "for those interested in a non-global flood explanation." If that's not you, just move on.

If that is you, then read the paper and find out.

FAQ: Is it possible that the Flood was local rather than global?

REPLY: Well; the problem with that theory is: the waters breached the
highest mountains by fifteen cubits (22½ feet). So then, if perchance Noah
lived in a geographic basin, the waters would have overflowed the
mountains surrounding him and kept on going before they ever got up to
that 22½ feet of extra elevation up in the air above their tops.

But the water would start spilling past Noah's area long before it breached
the tops of the highest mountains surrounding him because mountain ranges
aren't shaped smooth, level, and plane like the rim of a domestic bath tub.
No; they're very irregular and consist of high points and low points; viz:
peaks, valleys, canyons, gorges, saddles, and passes.

Thus mountain ranges make poor bath tubs because you would lose water
through the low points before it even had a chance to fill to the peaks. In
point of fact, were the sides of your bathtub shaped like a mountain range;
you could never fill it. And in trying to; just end up with water all over the
floor.

I am trying to find out if it is worthy my read or not.

If it does not answer those questions. Then no. I would not be interested. Because it goes against the word of God.
