Which means??
Maybe that we are to keep the Commandments?
Paul repeated all the ten but the sabbath and that we can fulfill the righteousness of the law by walking after the Spirit who transforms our minds

Maybe that we are to keep the Commandments?

So do we keep them or not?
Are they part of the Law or not?

Your statements seem conflicting..maybe I'm just reading them wrongly.
The ten commandments are the moral law applied to all (except the sabbath)
We cant keep them, they only revive sin in us
Paul as I said reflects them in his epistles, but we can now obey them because we have been buried and risen with Christ and can obey them by the Spirit

You could believe what the church has always taught...
or you could believe a new fandangled teaching that is outside of orthodoxy.
i have respect for you and am grateful for your concern.
I used to go to a Baptist church who had the gospel down pretty good but they applied what was for Israel to themselves. Their error is common, applying all Jesus taught Isreal is in the Bible but is not all to be applied to us. Jesus gives us our gospel and commandments thru Paul

Yes we do. All the gentiles that were baptized have proven Gods Word true and your theory false.
I am not talking about Gentiles I am talking about the church today the body of Christ

They are not even a church. They are a para-church organization. Are you completely disabled so that you cannot even leave your home? I do not mean to sound cruel, but to garner information.
They assemble and teach the Word of God so I say they are a church
Israel in the wilderness was a church
I am not able to go anywhere not well

Of which Paul said is composed of Jew and Gentile. If you are not Jewish (a descendant of Abrham, Isaac and Jacob) then you are a gentile in the body. That is Scripture.

For years I had to get around with a walker. My wife had to lift my legs to get in and out of the car.

I know people in wheel chairs who go to church, People on heavy dialysis, and cheomm therapy all going to fellowship. If you are able to get out even if not well, you should find a local assembly and sit under the divine authority given to a pastor teacher for your maturing and protecting.

I am sorry you are disabled, I know what it is.

I had to have both hihps replaced and they are recommending I have both my knees replaced as well as one shoulder. I have arthritis up my entire spine. There are days I can barely walk 100 ytards before pain sets in, but I have to be very ill to miss fellowshipping with teh sints. It means live. Church on TV is only for when we absolutely due to illness or injury cannot be with teh saints in person.

You are robbing a local church of your gift minstires as well as being robbed by not having a church minister to you as well.

Yes it was for that time, Jesus said the kingdom was at hand, Israel had to receive Jesus as their Messiah and the Son of God. They didnt so the kingdom was postponed.
Doug!

I have 18 alerts from you.

Each one is one sentence.

Now, this IS a great way to grow a thread...but is it fair??

Not sure how to handle this....time-wise.

Ronald, saw this when I posted my reply.

I just want to say that we all have DIFFERENT problems and must take a member at this word.

If Doug feels he is unable to leave the house,,,
then that's what we know.

No reason for him to explain WHY to anyone on this Forum.

I also do not attend church often and this will be between me and God.

I AM sorry for your troubles, and they don't sound small.
May God give us the grace and love to be able to accept all that comes our way...
both physical and emotional.

Precious friend, we are not fighting, simply asking a simple question:

"Which commands of Jesus Should we Follow"???

I have decided to follow Jesus?

Amen.
Hi Grace ambassador....
I'm sure your question means more than it appears to.

But my reply is:

We should follow ALL of Jesus' commands.

Except those specifically for the Apostels:
FORGIVE SINS
EXORCISE DEMONS
HEAL THE SICK (different from praying for the sick).

Can't think of anything else right now.

Precious friends, for your prayerful and Careful consideration:

I have decided to Love and Follow Jesus?

A) Do I follow Him, and the doctrine He Spoke as The:

Humble Christ, on the earth, To Israel, 12 apostles, Under The Law/covenants
/Prophecy:

1) Repent (change mind about sin/agree With God "it is Wrong!") or perish
(Luke 13:3,5, 24:47; Mar 1:4)
+
2) believe the gospel of the kingdom (Mat 4:23, 9:35, 24:14; Mar 1:14,15)
+
3) be baptized "For the remission of sin" (Mar 1:4 Luke 3:3, 7:29:30, 24:47;
Act 2:38)
+
4) "show works meet for repentance" (Mat 3:8), because,
+
5) "to the twelve tribes of Israel," "faith Without works is dead"
(James 1:1, 2:17,26)
+
6) "keep the commandments" to "enter life" (Mat 19:17)
+
7) "one thing thou lackest...sell ALL/take up cross/follow Jesus"
(Mar 10:17-23 cp Acts 2:44, 4:32-37 AV)
+
8) pray as a watchman, for Great Tribulation, man of sin, son of perdition, and
signs of the end times, and The Prophesied Second Coming?

Do I follow His earthly prophecy program of covenants and law?
( OT, Mat - John, Heb - Rev ) or?:

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15) From “Things That Differ!” (online)

B) Do I follow The LORD Jesus Christ As The Risen And Glorified "Head Of His Church" and:

His Heavenly Grace Program, According To The Revelation Of The Mystery?
(His Doctrine in Romans - Philemon!)?:

1) Have repentance toward God (change mind about sin/agree With God "it is Wrong!")
+
2) Have ►► (With Grace Through) faith ◄◄ toward The LORD Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21),
and trust/believe The Gospel Of The Grace Of God: His Death, Burial, And Resurrection,
According To The Scripture (Ephesians 2:5-9; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Titus 3:4-7 AV)
+
3) Acknowledge I am Spiritually Baptized By The ONE Baptism Of The Holy Spirit
Into The One (Spiritual Organism) Body Of Christ, Seated In the Heavenlies
+
4) Acknowledge Christ Is Living in me, so I allow Him to, through me:
+
5) To Fulfil:
All Of His Law, In One Word: ►► love ◄◄ thy neighbor
as thyself!" (Galatians 5:14; Romans 13:8-10)
+
6) Study God's Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided to show myself "Approved Unto God"
(2 Timothy 2:15), and then obey all the rest of these Bible study Rules
+
7) Work with my hands to "give to them in need," and The LORD "shall supply all my need"
+
8) Be a humble prayer warrior and ►► hope ◄◄ :
"...looking, watching, and Patiently Waiting For...": The LORD Jesus Christ!
+
9) Put on the Full armour of God and stand, in the spiritual warfare I wrestle with
+
10)
Eph 6:19 "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I
may open my mouth boldly, to make known The Mystery Of The Gospel,"
+
11)
Eph 3:9 "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of The Mystery, which from the
beginning of the world hath been hid in God, Who Created all things by Jesus Christ"
+
12) Acknowledge that I am going to give an account at Judgment (1 Corinthians 3:8-15;
Romans 14:12), at my Heavenly Home-Going ( Great GRACE Departure! )

According to these and all the details of God's Sound Doctrinal Blueprint In
Romans Through Philemon? (1 Timothy 1:10; 2 Timothy 4:3; Titus 1:9):

Titus 2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

Or?:
[ Combine these To: "obey ALL of them"? ] :

C) Do I speak after following the Many, who homogenize A) + B) into what
seems to be Contradictions ( water or Spirit Baptism, sell all or work, etc. )?

"For God is not the author of confusion, but of Peace,
as in all churches of the saints." (1 Corinthians 14:33)
Amen.

You do acknowledge that you arent to apply the commands given to the twelve. In the same way you shouldnt apply what Jesus commanded Israel to obey to yourself

@GRACE ambassador

You're bringing up two points:

1. You ask if it's possible to obey all commands.
You actually put it in the negative and said it's IMPOSSIBLE to obey all commands.

Then we must ask:
1. Are we a child of God.
or
2. Are we sinners?

John said:

1 John 3:1a
1 See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are.

John seems to believe that we are children of God.
But do we sin?
Yes. I've only met two Christians on these Forums - in 10 years - that claim to be perfect and never sin.

So I'd say that we are children of God that sin at times.
I would NOT say that we are SINNERS...which is what we were BEFORE salvation.

1 Corinthians 6:10-11
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 Such
were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

It is possible to obey all the commandments.
But no one will obey them 100% of the time.

And we are not to give up trying because it seems like an impossibility.

2. You make a long list.

Read through it.
Yes...we should be doing what that list requests.

You do mention The Law and we are not under THE LAW.
(except for the Moral Law).
