How do we have the mind of Christ?16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
Ellicott explained:
Four verses earlier, 1 Corinthians 2:But we have the mind of Christ.—That is, spiritual men, including the Apostles. The Apostle here identifies Christ with the Spirit, whom he has previously spoken of as the Teacher of spiritual things. He does not mean to assert that the Apostles knew all that the mind of Christ knew, but that all things which they did know were from Him and spiritual (John 15:15).
It begins with being born again. The Paraclete/Spirit moves in and dwells in our spirit, close to our mind.10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
John 14:
Romans 8:26 But the Advocate [Paraclete], the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
We have the mind of Christ/Spirit. We need to pay attention to the Indwelling Spirit. He teaches us and guides us in our everyday walk. We can grow to be a spiritual man.10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.
