Well believe it or not I slightly got over my fear of snakes today. I found a baby one dead on the sidewalk when I was taking a walk and I sort of felt bad for it since I thought it was cute a teensy bit and I really didn't want it being trampled upon. So I gently poked it with a stick a few times and made sure it was dead before moving it onto the grass. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind though if it started moving it was going to turn into one of those reality TV shows where I would have dropped it and hightailed out of there and a few beeps might have come out of my mouth. XD (And that was just a tiny one.)

I feel very uneasy around clowns, dolls, and ventriloquist dummies. I'm afraid of heights, snakes, and especially spiders.

Me...

I found this picture online and I told my family that this could have been me and they all agreed.
Love it! I'm a kiwi living in Australia. In NZ there are no snakes. Very few threatening spiders. And no predatory animals. While here in Oz nothing freaks me out, I am wary that there are things lurking in the bush... Behind the door... Under the couch... In the cupboard... Under the sink... In the toilet bowl... And in my bed that would delight in having me added to their daily diet.

My biggest fear since childhood was eternal life. The thought of no end was overwhelming.

Upon hearing the Gospel, my biggest fear was eternal suffering. Now I rest in the Lord Jesus.

The thought of having eternal life is still overwhelming for me, but I figure that is just due to a mixture of my rebellion and ignorance.

@Rudometkin The Lord Jesus as Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last (Revelation 1) is a comforting and inspiring thought also... :)

Along similar lines, I find God's eternal pre-existense to be mind-blowing.
Around 6K years ago, He made our universe.
What did He do before that?
And before that?
And before that?
And before that?
And before that...?
