For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.)
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
The law of Christ is written in commandments and points of law by the apostles at the word of Jesus Christ.
Transgressors of that law are therefore easily known, whether to do or not to do.
Since the antinomian law haters not only say it is not necessary to do the law of Christ without transgressing it, but now forbid it and declare any Christian even trying to do the law of Christ, is the only unsaved Christian on the planet headed to hell.
Therefore, enough with theory and let's get down to brass tacks:
Which Christian on this site is ready to specify any commandment or point of law of Christ, that they say is either impossible to keep, or they just don't do it? If they want to say whe whole law of Christ can't be done, then once again specify which single commandment or point the problem.
The commandments including the first great two are plain, and so which of those are declared undoable and/or we ought not try to do them on pains of hell?
Loving God? Our neighbor? One another? Not taking Jesus' name in vain? Honoring mother and father? Do no murder?
How about the points of law that are manifest in works of the flesh, which are found written mostly by Paul but other apostles as well:
Adultery? Drunkenness? Idolatry? Here's a good one: Manstealling. Having respect of persons in the faith of our Lord? How about riotous living? Thieving? Lasciviousness? Is there a Christian here that has a problem keeping their pants or dresses on in public?
So, let's here for the Christians against doing the law of Christ, who do not in fact do it themselves.
I do the law gladly and, like David, love to do it, and the fact that it's easy to do it with Jesus living on the inside working on the outside.
I hate vain thoughts and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
