Jesus let's us know what defiles a man, and it is sin. Sin comes from the heart, and the mouth declares it.

Matthew 12
[34] O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
[35] A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Matthew 15
[18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
[19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
[20] These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Can a defiled man enter the Kingdom of God? Absolutely not. Remedy: get washed in the blood of Jesus so you will have a new heart and a new spirit, being born from above.

1 Peter 4
[1] Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
[2] That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
[3] For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

Who makes us Righteous ?

1 Corinthians 1:30
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

2 Corinthians 5:21
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Who Justifies us ?

Romans 3:24
and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Who Sanctifies us ?

1 Corinthians 1:2
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:

1 Corinthians 6:11
But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Who does not condemn us ?

Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

hope this helps !!!

There is no doubt in my mind that it is Jesus who justifies us, who sanctifies us, and who does not condemn us. I don't even have to look at your scriptures to be able to know that.

But there is a false doctrine in the works that teaches that sanctification is merely positional and not practical.

And also, to "justify" means "to declare righteous"...

Do I need to remind you that it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18, Titus 1:2)?

Therefore justification means that the man justified is made righteous (Romans 5:19).

Righteousness is a practical proposition (1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).
