Please consider the spiritual nature of the Kingdom:

“And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2) (KJV 1900)

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12) (KJV 1900)

“Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” (Matthew 16:28) (KJV 1900)

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” (1 Corinthians 15:50)

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) (KJV 1900)

“Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5)

“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36) (KJV 1900)

“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:” (Luke 17:20) (KJV 1900)

“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21) (KJV 1900)

“But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has already overtaken you.” (Luke 11:20)

“because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)

“Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus performed, they began to say to one another, “This is certainly the Prophet who is to come into the world.” Then Jesus, because he knew they were going to come and seize him by force to make him king, withdrew again up the mountainside alone.” (John 6:14–15)

“He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves,” (Colossians 1:13)

A protestant is just one who protest against the Roman Catholic Church.

A protestant maybe correct in many things but most may not know what the Catholic Church is.

Roman Catholics are not all truly Catholic at all, especially nowadays because Vatican 2 became too worldly, so when one talks to such you are just talking to a Socialist Marxist type of twerp, not to mention it's the same with the Protestants now, who spin the same nonsense and they are not talking about God at all.

Look at Pope Francis he is just so full of total rubbish, he never truly preaches Jesus Christ and only says that name if he really has to, but he uses the word god a lot, but what god is he talking of ?
Pope Frances claims that Islam is the same god that he worships and I agree that he does that, but that's not the God of Christianity at all in fact !

Every true Christian knows that no one can only come to the Father but through the only begotten Son, fact is that all others do not know God and if anyone tells you other wise they are of Satan !

Everyone who seeks Jesus Christ is on the right path, but many denominations are not truly about Jesus at all. Jesus is just a means to an end to there craft, there so called jesus is just one that there so called Church drags out if they really have to, but the rest of it is all just mans works dribble and making out just how a goodie little two shoes that they are and nothing but busybodies.
The Bible points this all out.
Look around you and see the works of such Churches, they do not bear fruit ? look at all the people who have turned away, that's proof ! you will know them by there works ? it's full of Sodomites as well.
Go into any Church nowadays and start preaching about what Sodom is, they will get deeply offended and if you are a Priest doing as such, they will kick you out for preaching the facts of the Gospel.
But I still remember the days that one could preach from the Gospel and no one would take a swipe at such at all.
But nowadays if you are preaching Jesus Christ, it's Politically Incorrect, but start idolising so called Jews or pointing out Islam for what it truly is, then the power of morons come out with their full on spite. that type never was about, it's a new cancer that is growing and if you look to the church leadership on such, it's dead, they are too gutless to stand up and point out the weeds for what they truly are.
So Christianity is dead as to all the churches, they have been sold out ! no wonder with such people who hide child molesters etc and all, such is proof !

Dis unity in Christ Jesus is the root of the problem.

People cannot do good works unless they are good by God's standard. And he says none are righteous. Only the born again can rise above the sinful motives behind all good works of the flesh.
It's like repeatedly knocking on a door - but nobody's home . . .

Just because a person isn't performing "good" (godly) works - doesn't mean they are engaging in "evil".
Some people are sleeping. Some are eating. Some are just going to the bathroom. NONE of those things are evil.

Your arguments are getting more and more pathetic . . .

What distinguishes a "Protestant?"

No tall pointy hats.
No turbins.
No upside down crosses.
No pseudo holy fathers.
No waiting to receive Salvation.
No ring kissing...:D

What makes you think I don't believe what I say? I've paid a lot in trial and suffering for what I believe. And am well studied before saying anything you read coming from me.
Well i am not well studied, does some people no good. You yourself said God doesnt speak to man, so if he doesnt what has the Holy Spirit to do with you,

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

so if God has nothing to say, neither has He.

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

and if not God that only leaves yourself and teh devil..

A protestant is just one who protest against the Roman Catholic Church.

A protestant maybe correct in many things but most may not know what the Catholic Church is.

The Original HOUSE of GOD...was built by man, according to Gods Instruction, Design and Gods Word, rules, doctrine, teaching.

For Centuries....it is no more ^^^^ that.
A man-made church, is established with man-made Design of the Structure...man-made....RULES, DOCTRINE, TEACHING.

I have had several professing Catholics tell me....they were BORN Catholic....and some claim as a babe in their cradle...their Parents made them Catholic....:D

Never heard a Protestant CLAIM they were, naturally 'born" a Protestant.... :)

It simply all hangs on what man-made Churches TEACH....and which individual men CHOOSE to FOLLOW and be YOKED WITH.

Me, I favor Christ's Church...that has no sticks, brick and mortar and man-made rules and doctrine......and IMO, Christ's Church is truly thee House of God.

Glory to God,

Pot calling out the Pot...

That's amusing.
How is a person saved according to your church's teaching? If they are wrong on this, perhaps they are wrong on everything else too?
How about their treatment of women? Threatening loss of salvation over trimming split ends or cutting their hair? Any comments on this appreciated.

See post 225.
BreadofLife, YOU stated that to be sinful, there must be a "wrong motive."
I simply pointed out the undeniable absurdity of such a limitation.
So - you think Jesus is "absurd"??

John 9:41
Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, 'We see,' your sin remains.

No - YOU are simply presenting more impotent scenarios in a desperate attempt to win an argument that cannot possibly be won on the merits of Scripture.

Good works are bad unless purified by faith. Even eating: “And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” (Romans 14:23) (KJV 1900)

Oh Brother. How confused can you get?

But, my wife just read this and said not to bother, because she and I were just as blinded when we still went to the CoC. And until the Holy Spirit opens your eyes, you will remain in bondage.

You keep cherry-picking and pitting Scripture against itself - and you continue to FAIL.
Jesus our Lord said the following:

John 9:41
Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, 'We see,' your sin remains.

He was speaking about the ignorance of sin. In other words - sin is about INTENT.
It doesn't happen by "accident".

Enough with your nonsense already . . .

Even the best works are sin if not done to glorify God in faith.
