I was born again at 25 and baptised at 42.
then it’s not baptismal regeneration that is the initiation into the new covenant!
and that would make baptism meaningless!!!

Born of God by baptism
No, born of God by the blood of Christ and the Holy Spirit. Friend you are missing such a good thing.

There are 3 kinds of disciples in those days; there were disciples of the Pharisees and then there are disciples of John the Baptist's by his water baptism which would be significant for the disciples of the Pharisees in being publicly seen as no longer known as disciples of the Pharisees but the disciples of John the Baptist. It was John the Baptist's water baptism that made any one a disciple of John the Baptist's.
When coming to Jesus Christ to believe in Him for salvation, believers are signified by God by His baptism with the Holy Ghost as they are all children of God by faith in Jesus Christ.
To signify that new believers are now disciples of Jesus Christ and not a disciple of the Pharisees nor a disciple of John the Baptist's nor a Gentile sinner any more, the new believers get baptized in Jesus's name in becoming disciples of Jesus Christ as a public witness to all.
So it is not that water baptism has no meaning, but it is not the baptism scriptures testify about when one is born again of the Spirit.
Born of God is something the Father did in Jesus's name and that is sending the promise of the holy Spirit which Jesus baptized us with at our salvation when we had come to & believed in Jesus Christ for eternal life.
Since being born of the Spirit is something God performs, then the baptism with the Holy Spirit is what is being done by God at our salvation for when we come to & believe in Jesus Christ.

Salvation, regeneration, being born again, are synonymous.
You must be born again to enter His kingdom, and the two choices are Gods kingdom, or the lake of fire.
Period.
I know I was not born again until I was 35 so you are in effect calling me a liar.

Born again means Baptismal regeneration!

Redemption, Justification, Sanctification, and Salvation!
Redemption: 100 percent the work of God, thru the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ! All mankind are redeemed in Christ! Eph 2

Christ alone accomplished the redemption of mankind apart from any works on our part!

Sanctification: the life of grace in the holy sacrifice of the mass and sacraments, prayer, virture, and good works, the just living by faith, and faith working thru love! Phil 1:29 called to suffer with Christ.

Salvation: a christian in the state if grace at the moment of death we enter into the salvation of the Lord! Mt 24:44-47 faithful servant! Jn 15:1-5 abide in me. Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Proof of true faith is humble s humble subjection and obedience to Christ and His holy church!
