Luke 8:10-13
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
KJV
2 Thess 2:4
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
KJV
Are you allowing the temptations of the devil make you fall away? As we see in this hour of GREAT temptation, which is the devils wiles, the world is flooded with these temptations that cause us to fall away from Christ being unfaithful to THE WORD committing spiritual fornication.
We are in the tribulation period that is separating the FAITHFUL from the unfaithful. Just as many of the Hebrews who came out of Egypt did.. they returned to Egypt in times of hardship or trouble. They did not believe God's Word and adhere to it as their HOPE in times of trouble and temptation like Jesus showed us to do in his wilderness temptations.
We are not to be standing in line with the lost who do not CALL UPON the name of the LORD being THE WORD of promise when troubles, disasters, temptations come. David called upon and stood upon the Word of God as his only hope and VICTORY against the enemy, he trusted in Christ to keep him safe and sound.
Put on your Armor of GOD... When you are hidden safely behind the armor of God standing firm as mentioned in Ep.6... you will win because the devil sees the armor but he fails to see that it is US in our weakness behind the armor... he flees because he recognizes the Armor "OF GOD" whom he cannot defeat!!
Eph 6:10-19
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
