I read the book Yogi Kathamrita by Shri Paramahansa Yogananda in Marathi language. It contains information about Jesus Christ.
The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of Christ Within You. :)
Read the Bible for the truth about Jesus. This Yogi taught with a quite different perspective of who Jesus was. The idea that He implies his views are of the "original Christianity" as if it is something other and more profound than what the Bible teaches is suspicious. Hindus often regard Jesus as "a god", one of many, in agreement with you as being important but not the Supreme Being. There is only ONE GOD. So Shiva, Brahman, Krisna, etc. are not in the Bible.
They will accept Jesus as one of many and teach that all priphets (of any religion) are valid and okay to choose whichever one that draws you.
He only has ( or had, he's dead), a superficial understanding of any, lacking spiritual discernment, which one receives by the Holy Spirit.
No one comes to the Father but by Me, Jesus said. So if you choose any other way, you will remain lost.

@Siddhi Koli I agree you should not read the book by the Yogi for information about the Lord Jesus or the Holy Spirit.

Read the Bible and also listen to good pastors that believe the Bible is the Word of God.

And you can ask more questions here.

Jesus is going to come again to take the saints home. It will be a visible literal audible event.

1Thess 4:16-17
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

If you want information about Jesus Christ, you should read your Bible.

Yes, but my mother said that the ear doctor gave this book Yogi Kathamrita by Shri Paramahansa Yogananda in Marathi language.
I stopped reading this book and I don't believe it, I told my mother; I came here to tell everyone.

That is good. If someone is not a Christian, they could have incorrect ideas about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Some people will not hear that Jesus is the Savior of all the worlds.

Revelation 1:7-8
King James Version

7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

His sheep hear His voice, but not all are His sheep! Unfortunately, He is not the Savior of all the world. Many will be lost. Only those who receive Him and believe. I would think that when every eye sees Him, they will finally realize their error - but it might be too late. You see, during the Great Tribulation - which is almost upon us, many will receive the mark of the Beast. Once you receive that mark, you have sealed your fate.
To date, there have been many theories as to what this mark will be. Will it be physical or spiritual or both. Scripture says that during these times of a New World Order, you won't be able to buy or sell unless you have this mark (on your hand or forehead). So it must be visible. Some speculate that it will be an embedded computer chip. Others think it could he present in a vaccine taken. ??
So those who are not Christian yet and still have refused to receive this mark, will have a chance to be saved. Well, that is another topic of which there are many views and lots of material to examine.
There are fundamentals that we can all believe, the essentials. But then there are non-essential doctrines that we squabble with, divide over. We shouldn't, but people get passionate and are adament about being right - it's pride.
EXAMPLES: Believing in a young earth or old earth will not effect your salvation. Half of Christians believe in this "Theistic evolution", which I don't.
Some believe in a coming Millennial Kingdom where Jesus will actually be King on earth in Jerusalem and some either think it was past or was/is spiritual.
Are the Catholics right about praying to the saints and Mary, asking them to intercede or do the Protestants have it right?
So just a heads up. There are many debates going on and it will appear that these Christians are not unified. We are with the essentials. The main crucial one is the gospel in one sentence: Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose from the dead kn the third day according to the scriptures. If you believe that you are saved. You can be confused about a lot of other things, but not that one. There is more to it obviously. But your belief opens the door to a transformed life and begins a relationship with God through Christ. A prayer life, following Him and obeying His commandments to love Him and eachother.

Yes that is true and sad.

God the Father is a loving Father of us all. And his son Jesus the Christ demonstrated his love by providing a way for us to be with them in heaven after this life. And as you pointed out, they provided for us to live again in resurrected bodies. What a great future we have! Keep up the good work. I am happy to read your posts. :)

Does the Holy Spirit live in our bodies?
The Bible teaches that the human body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, meaning that the Spirit of God dwells within believers

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

King James Version

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Hmmm
Then who is.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God and the power of God, as Jesus revealed in Matthew 16:17. Which He elaborated upon speaking of the Holy Spirit as He and Him, as if separate from the Father--because the Father remains holy--in whom there is no darkness.

Matthew 3:16-17
King James Version
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Acts 1:8
King James Version
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

John 16:13
King James Version
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Acts 2:3-4
King James Version
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Good Day, Sister Siddui, how are you all? We are well. Great question, it has made me feel: Believers can feel the Holy Spirit in various ways, including emotional responses such as peace, joy, and reverence, as well as physical sensations like warmth, tingling, or a sense of power. These feelings are often described as a comforting presence enveloping the believer, and they can manifest during prayer, worship, or other moments of spiritual connection. The Holy Spirit's presence is not solely based on emotional feelings but is also a result of living in obedience to God's will.

John 16

The Holy Spirit Promised

(Joel 2:28-32; John 14:15-26; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7)

5But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? 6But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. 7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Love, Walter and Debbie

Shiddhi Koli,

"Cast your net on the right side of the boat." These are words from Jesus to those who fish. It is good to see you doing so!

There is but one actual and unbroken ribbon down through the ages since the beginning of time, of the One True God interacting with humanity. Hallelujah--you have found it!

Welcome!

The Holy Spirit lives in our consciousness (our mind). He directs us towards Jesus.

John 16:13-14
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.

We can ask, what is it that is yet to come? It is Jesus giving his life....even for his enemies. Jesus reveals the nature of God.

Why did I become a Christian? and witness of holy spirit
I know why the Holy Spirit showed me that I was in depression :(And I wanted to get in the car to the hospital
God meets us where we are. He meets us when our understanding of him is way off track. His Sprit will guide us to where he wants us to be. He will show you Jesus because Jesus is the full revelation of God.
If we do not resist by insisting on our own way, he will open our understanding.

Yes I believe in Jesus since 2021, don't believe in other god because I get angry with other god. My family don't know who Jesus is. Because of them I believed in Hindu Gods. :pensive: I am sad.
Just keep praying for your family Siddhi and let the light of Jesus shine through you.
If you find Scripture readings in your language, you might play them within your family's hearing. Even if it's just short readings.
