Romans 3:27-28 KJVWhat is this?
Excellent post; exactly what I think. Totally Scriptural.Yes.
That is the final answer.
God began our salvation and God finishes our salvation.
If it was not ALL of God, He could not offer it as a GIFT.
"The GIFT of Salvation".
Great post there, @Waiting on him Ephesians 2.8-9 is a famous passage that expresses it similarly and comparably.Romans 3:27-28 KJV
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. [28] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Here Paul in my opinion explains boasting is excluded, because one can't boast of something thats origin isn't of them. This would be like me taking credit for the Mona Lisa just because I'd witnessed it?
He goes on further to explain that he doesn't frustrate this, his faith is a work of God.
Excellent! Couldn't be any clearer.Great post there, @Waiting on him Ephesians 2.8-9 is a famous passage that expresses it similarly and comparably.
I don't believe the true believer ever loses his or her salvation.Dial it in even more....
Paul said......(watch this)....>"i do not Frustrate the GRACE of God".
See that part,????? that this the key to the verse. As that is the verse's warning to YOU.
As wrong believing IS to frustrate God's Grace.
When you do that you become "fallen from Grace" and are "in the Flesh".
To frustate God's Grace is to substitute any type of "religious works, self effort", situation to try to ither stay saved or be accepted by God.
If you believe you can "lose your salvation" then you DO NOT Trust GOD's GRACE to keep you saved, and you are frustrating God's GRACE.
Here is how a heretic sounds who is " FRUSTRATING GOD's GRACE".... "yes i know that Jesus saved me, but now i have to....do this....and do that.....and do that.....and i have to be careful not to do that, and if i get all that right till the END, then i get to go to heaven"..
See that?
That is how you Frustrate God's Grace. You replace it with SELF SELF SELF SELF EFFORT.
Many on this forum, as shown in my Threads, are frustrating God's Grace.
Yes, John 6 and Ephesians 2 seem to confirm that faith is indeed a work of God. As does Philippians 1.6.He goes on further to explain that he doesn't frustrate this, his faith is a work of God.
t gives me a biblical opinion.
God called Ezekiel to be a watchman for the house of Israel; and He has called me to be a watchman on these boards; whether I am qualified or not.
However, I have heard it said that God does not call the qualified but He qualifies the called.
Therefore, because I am called, I am also qualified.
I do have to admit for some time I did frustrate this, I believe theres a process from being saved to becoming a son. You may disagree, and that's ok because that's just been my walk.Dial it in even more....

We never cease to 'grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ' (2 Peter 3.18). I do think that at the point of regeneration it's where the great change takes place.I do have to admit for some time I did frustrate this, I believe theres a process from being saved to becoming a son. Absolutely, this is a man pouring out his soul to the lord in gratification for a gift, I'm certain he knows wasn't generated within a wretch. Thanks for the 'like'; it really does express things well, that superb hymn...
Absolutely although a son at that time I believe we have yet to learn the love of our father. We never cease to 'grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ' (2 Peter 3.18). I do think that at the point of regeneration it's where the great change takes place.

My ever dear delight!
And still new beauties may I see,
And still increasing light!"
