And the righteousness of the disciple is much greater than the righteousness of the righteous....because God is working in His people.
Disciples of Jesus are righteous (in God's sight), through faith in him. Unbelievers are unrighteous, partly because whatever is not of faith is sin.

AND...the righteousness of the righteous is greater than the righteousness of the Pharisees. So the Pharisees are 2 layers of righteousness away from God. Adding sin to sin.
The Pharisees were only righteous in their own eyes (and the eyes of their followers).

This is your indoctrination talking. God is not a Christian. He has no favourites but only judges what He SEES us DO. You need to learn this or else you risk walking in vain.

You will be judged against the perfection of Christ UNLESS you allow mercy into your formula. Show no mercy and you will get none. You are throwing stones without BEING perfect yourself. And God does not see you in any other condition than what you really are. It is a delusion of the devil that says God sees you already like Jesus. It is a mockery of the power of Christ. His power is not to blind God. But the devil's power has blinded you.
The Pharisees were only righteous in their own eyes (and the eyes of their followers).
Most Christians today are exactly the same. Righteous in their own eyes. That's why SO MANY will be rejected. Do you not claim to be righteous? But God said that no man living can claim to be righteous in His eyes. (and don't say that God said all Christians are righteous...stick with the bible)

Eph. 2:8-10 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Those who have genuine faith in Jesus produce good fruit; in fact, that is one of the tests of genuineness.

Mark 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Without faith in the Lord, it is impossible to please God.

Heb. 11:5,6
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

When were you translated into Zion? And what does, or did it look like?

And further to my previous post about Cain and Abel, it's important that we notice that Abel wasn't declared righteous apart from the shedding of blood.....because not until that sacrifice was made was he declared righteous:

Heb 11:4

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

In other words, it translates to us that righteousness was imputed to Abel because of his FAITH. And of course our sacrifice, which Abel's sacrifice was a shadow/picture of, is the shed blood of Christ....our faith in it/Him. Thank you precious Lord.

The Pharisees were only righteous in their own eyes (and the eyes of their followers).
He who does not Beleive God , his faith is counted only as unbelief .
Many often try and teach only certain things God said , Christ said
While omitting other parts . But if one believes Not what Christ said they do not even believe Him .
We got inclusivians about this place . And at most they will only teach
things Jesus said , while omitting the dire necessity to even have to FIRST BELEIVE ON JESUS .
Yes you heard that right .
They beleive that if they only teach certain things JESUS taught
to athiests and etc , WHILE NEVER tell them of the dire need to FIRST BELIEVE ON JESUS ,
they are still presenting them the gospel of JESUS .
TO an inclusivian , i will use pope francis as an example , THEY beleive
that anyone in any religoin can and does indeed FOLLOW JESUS
IF they keep things he said . YES you heard that right .
That means if one is walking in any religoin and does not even repent and confess JESUS as Lord and beleive the gospel ,
STILL they are following JESUS .
ITS a false love , false works dead faith religoin .
And that is why you wont see EPI even preaching the dire need to FIRST BELIEVE ON JESUS
And dont let him fool you with his oh the church dont need to be reminded .
WHEN I SPOKE to an athiest about His dire need to repent and believe on JESUS
this mr epi called it RELIGOUS extremism .
So while its true that if one cliams to have faith in JESUS and yet walks in darkness of sin
and has evil works , THEIR faith is dead .
IF one refuses to BELIEVE ON JESUS and walks in a false religoin or etc
THEIR WORKS will not save them . IN fact they call GOD A LIAR .
Now mr david . What do you suppose GOD , HIS CHRIST , is gonna tell
one on JUDGMENT day , who said But Lord i did many good works , i fed the poor
And yet called GOD a liar the whole time they were doing such works .
DO we really THINK their works are gonna have saved them . And he who
BELIEVES not the testimony that GOD gave of the SON , OH HE DO call THE GOD
who testified ON THE SON , A LIAR .

Every church realizes a delicate balance between being welcoming and holding to a high standard. Too welcoming and the standard goes down....fast! Too strict and nobody comes. Very few churches are able to navigate through what appeals to a carnal mind to a challenge to the inner man of faith.

God's ways follow a similar pattern. An easy to get into grace in the initial salvation...a free gift is free. Regeneration by the Spirit! Many are interested in that. But then to get the full measure of grace one has to sell all to buy it. The kingdom of God costs us everything. This is where the "good news" stops for the vast majority. Victory over sin???...they prefer forgiveness over power to overcome sin for an easy ongoing sin model that is easily attained and maintained by religious people who remain spiritual novices for their whole lives. Even the bible has been altered to reflect that strategy. Why not? What's the point of stressing the truth if it empties the churches??? Who would be around to appreciate the free gift? We have to caretake God or else He will destroy His own work with all that holiness talk. Who is around to help God if not us?

In our very independent and carnal society, nobody wants a strict standard. And what could be more strict than holiness? Are people attracted to holiness? NO, just promise them that sanctification is an ongoing progressive quality that one can push to the back of their minds. In our quest to fill the pews we have opted for being welcoming...that's what counts...making people feel comfortable, affirmed and unchallenged. Let sleeping dogs lie. And lie they will to maintain the social order. God's holiness, for these, is seen as something that is fully unattainable. What to do? Well the devil is also at work welcoming people into a very shallow version of the church that never attains to holiness. He changes the meaning of words and lowers the standard until people can feel they have achieved all ...with just the free sample. The free sample BECOMES the full sample in this very welcoming environment for the flesh. Have you been regenerated in the Spirit? Then you are saved!!!...nothing beyond that exists in the world...nobody can stop sinning anyway, or so the story goes that encourages unbelief in its members. Jesus speaks of 10 lepers that were healed but only one came back (and he was a Samaritan). Jesus asked...where are the other nine? In the modern churches whereby the devil has infiltrated the religious system (Babylon) and conformed it to his own ways...who can find any that return to God and seek His face for the FULLNESS of His grace that makes them overcome as He did? Telling people to seek God feels like a slap in the face to most modern church-goers. The devil knows his work. When the Son of Man returns will He find ANY faith in the world?

The title is what is God looking for from us .
Well it darn sure aint to CALL HIM A liar .
And he or she who believes NOT the testimony that GOD gave of The SON
does call GOD a liar .
And anyone who tries to t urn JESUS into a minstir of any sin
calls God a liar .
Because God will never call certain rainbows , nor any false religoin , or any sin , G OOD .
So to the one who says God is love and now calls
Good what GOD called abomination , OH they do call God who called it such a LIAR .
Bible time folks . We got many twisters of the Word all over the place .

In March 1985. It looks like Jesus.
The first time I was in Zion, in April 1973 ( correction- 1974 not 1973), I experienced a new state of being. I felt a profound change in my heart and mind, accompanied by powerful emotion, that moved my whole body and held me completely still for moments as God worked within me. It was the spirit of Christ, at home in me. He had arrived in spirit, accompanied by his Father. It all felt surreal, happening in an instant. The experience marked a new beginning in my life, and from then on, I began to clearly understand how I was separate from the world, Babylon, and its ways.

Throughout my life, I have had repeated experiences in Zion, including heartfelt conversations with the spirit of Yeshua and even with God’s angels. At times, I have felt light and waves of sensation touch my face and hair. I wanted to know Christ more deeply—not only as the lord and saviour of my new life, but also as my dear friend and brother.

These moments in my life are first in service to God, and then to myself. They encourage me to continue in God’s kingdom today and to use—and share with others—the talents and gifts I have been given, for his glory.

Believers, as me, often feel like "aliens" or wanderers in their earthly homes, maintaining their citizenship in Zion while obeying earthly laws, viewing their earthly life as a temporary sojourn toward eternal unity with God.

It's funny though, as I've moved into many earthly homes in my life, I've never put hangings on the wall, maybe a few insignificant ones in the bathrooms or hallways. As if I know these are never my true homes; I'm expecting to be permanently in Zion, on any day.
