I've heard it said, "Hurt people hurt people." I think there is a lot of truth in that. We have to decide for ourselves that we are not going to hurt others having been hurt ourselves. We can have reflexive "knee jerk" responses, which means the flesh is triggered. We have to be watchful, and determined, to break the cycle.
