What makes a doctrine false?

What will confirm it is the Lords coming and the rebuke of all those who have knowingly and unknowingly preached lies. Some will be opened minded enough to learn and others will not - ever has it been this way.

There have been a number of significant points, Steven.
The first is your admission that you neither possess the original Gospel nor have ever seriously sought to find it. Do you genuinely believe that the Pearl of Great Price is universalism, or even the mass-marketed, diluted gospel that is so widely sold today?
I tried to guide you to John 3:8 and then we could have gone to 2 Corinthians 4:18-5:7 but I doubt it helps.
Until a man is born of this unseen force, he cannot know its cause, only its outward effect in the lives of others.

You said you posted “this” on another topic, yet once again you’ve deflected. This thread is still waiting for you to explain which topic you mean.
Are you referring to the issue of not searching for the original Gospel? Or to the question of not knowing the direction of the wind? Or is it simply another instance of standing on the sidelines while genuinely sincere seekers of truth engage, only for you to redirect the discussion with yet another link to one of your many inconsequential musings?
Surely, with all your fighting experience, you can do more than evade the point and instead enlighten the entire forum.

@St. SteVen, what if you were to discover that much of what you believe to be true is, in fact, false? Rather than sowing peace in this forum, you have sown error and discord. Do you have any sense of reverent fear regarding the things you claim to know, yet are unable to support with the true light of Scripture?
You showed no understanding of John 3:8, and when it was raised you were unable to engage with its meaning. Why is that?
As Jay Ross noted a few posts earlier, this truth was essentially confirmed: until a person is born of this unseen force, he cannot know its source, only its outward effects in the lives of others.
You see the issue which is apparent is you are a spectator viewing from the sideline while those sincere believers are seeking what is priceless.
What would you be willing to do to possess such a Pearl of Great Price? What are you prepared to surrender in order to seek this indescribable gift of truly knowing God and Jesus Christ, whom He has sent?
Ezra noted a few posts back that Scripture is learned by entering into it, by getting your hands in the soil and becoming a fellow labourer with God. Yet all you offer are trivial one-liners, as though you need leverage to gain a false sense of superiority, when in fact your façade is plain for all to see.
If you believe the Spirit of Truth breathes where it wills, why do you ask so many meaningless questions, revealing that this truth has not taken root in you??
