Wolves, whether within or without cannot destroy the Church, the Holy Spirit does not allow it, and so the Truth continues to be proclaimed and lived down through the centuries..,

A hired man, who is not a shepherd and whose sheep are not his own, sees a wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away, and the wolf catches and scatters them.
