[Exo 12:29 LSB] 29 Now it happened at midnight that Yahweh struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle.
How do you know God started with those not covered? God was dealing with His people in this particular test, as much as with Egypt. Some would say certain of Israel were also killed if they had not prepared correctly. God does not wink at disobedience. God started out with His people and did not skip over because He already knew what was done.

Do you think God would skip over the houses of those in Israel who were sleeping in houses not prepared with blood on the doorpost? That verse does not say God passed over His people last, nor any other verse states that.

In fact Pharoah was completely out of the loop.

"And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said."

The non included reply would be: "We have been eating all night, waiting for you to say go". Any one asleep would not have been eating and thus no blood on their door posts that night in all of Egypt.

So you are here to change 3,000 years of an entire nation of getting their history wrong?
An entire nation? No. You. You can't seem to read the plain words in any translation.

And here's even more proof. (It's ludicrous that this is even an argument about actual words on a page - not even an interpretation).

[1Co 5:7 LSB] For Christ, our Passover lamb, also was sacrificed.
Paul states Jesus was the Passover Lamb and that He was sacrificed. When does this sacrifice happen? Passover.

[Num 28:16 LSB] 16 'Then on the fourteenth day of the first month shall be the Passover of Yahweh.

[Exo 12:6 LSB] 6 'And you shall keep [the lamb] until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall slaughter it [between the evenings]

[2Ch 35:1 LSB] 1 Then Josiah celebrated the Passover to Yahweh in Jerusalem, and they slaughtered the Passover [animals] on the fourteenth [day] of the first month.

Sacrifice was on the Passover. The 14th of Nisan. Plain contextual reading.

We can even examine an actual Jewish source as to how they interpreted the issue. After the 6th hour - that is, from noon onwards - on the 14th.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, towards evening [i.e., from the sixth hour (of the day) onwards] is (the time for the sacrifice of) the Paschal offering to the L-rd.

No, the Lamb was slain on the 14th in preparation for the pass over where many died on the 15th. Midnight was the 15th. The preparation was between the evening that started the 14th and the evening that started the 15th, two evenings.

Your translation says they celebrated. That is wrong. They kept or prepared the Passover Lamb sacrifices on the 14th, the day of preparation, because that was what God ordained. The Lamb was not the pass over. God passed over and killed the firstborn of all those who had not prepared the Passover Lamb. Jesus was crucified on the 14th because that was the day of preparation. The Passover was the day of rest on the 15th.

I quoted the verses that showed the Passover was on the 15th. You fail to acknowledge them. You also don't seem to acknowledge that every descendant of Jacob to this day calls the Passover the 15th of Nisan. Look it up on any Calendar. The 14th is the day of preparation. You point out both days as well, but you must think the 13th is the day of preparation and the 14th is the Passover as far as I can tell. Since you don't seem to want to answer my questions.
