What was the primary work that Paul was pointing to in Ephesian 2:10

Ephesian 2:10: - 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.​

What did Jesus do? What did He tell us to do?

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt 6:33

And then how specific is this?

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the WORK of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:28-29

Nor do we need to do it all alone...

Lord, I believe; help thou mine UNBELIEF. ...Jesus...rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. Mark 9:24-25

... and then again can we do it all alone?

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 6:15

So then ask Him for help:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Ask then for help in our unbelief and for help do any work He sets before us: First to believe and then...?

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom 8:26

My thoughts about the "good works" mentioned in Ephesian 2:10 could refer to the opportunities God presents us with as we go on about our day. Simple things like, holding a door for someone, helping someone to load their groceries, simply being kind to everyone, especially those who are not so kind back. The Great Commission! Smile at folks, especially those who seem down, live the love!
