I made soup :ramen::bread:
It looks wholesome, with great body and something to devour, to ask for seconds before it's all gone. A dish for those cold wintery days.

Made some ham and bean(s) soup the other day and added a little too much black pepper. Had to add some bullion cubes and water and more beans to settle the hot peppery aftertaste in my mouth that lingered on for bit. Turned out okay, and the taste was great, although the presentation did not look as good at yours judging from your pics. Froze some of it for a later date.

Great job..

I didn't know there were 16 beans!!

I made broth (chicken soup) the other day.
But my granddaughter was here.
She's autistic and doesn't ask for much...
so when she requested that I cut up some franks and add them...

I DID!

Two franks...
really tiny pieces.

Then I added eggs ---

Egg drop broth with tiny pieces of franks.

Then while we were eating it, she suggested to maybe put some corn in there.

Corn?

OK.

IT WAS DELICIOUS!!

broth
with rice
with tiny pieces of a frankfurter
with two eggs
with corn

WHAT MORE COULD A PERSON ASK!!

List the 16 different beans or are there only a quantity of 16 beans called for in the recipe...sml You don't have to list them....

Happy cooking...

These meals sure do sound good .
But i know of a meal that all sheep shall feast upon at the table of THE LORD .
The great banquet of the GLORIOUS LORD . Paradise forever with the KING who had saved the sheep .
There is a day , oh i say there is an hour
KNOWN to no man , WHEREIN forever shall the sheep OF HIS PAS TURE be forever with The G LORIOUS LORD .
And t hough i know not this day or hour , THE SIGNS of the times
sure be saying it d raws ever nigh . GOTTA SAY i have long long long looked forward to HIS DAY .

Looks yummy. My bean soup looks like that. I had some last night - the last of the batch until I make some more.

But for my tea tonight I'm going to have cheese on toast made with seeded bread
