well rain here today, still in the 70. a good thing just don't last long but and only God, and we thank him.

We kind of think and figure JESUS was probable born in Sept.

Well it's almost mid-January and we have had a good ride so far...BUT Monday or Tuesday they say our temps are plummeting down to 40 below C ...not looking forward to that. But, this IS winter after all. Sigh.

Never been there.. But do have snow in winter not far from here... But it ain't minus 40. Used to ski in NZ... Surf in mid winter with ice on the beach... And it still wasnt minus 40!!!

Imagine being at Mitre Point or at the end of the Milford Track when the last boat or bus has already gone home for the winter....Trudeau père used to talk about Canada's solitudes....

Yes, in Aus/NZ Christmas is sometimes spent on the beach, right?

Yes, with salads, cold meat, or barbecue. Although in New Zealand it often actually rains around Christmas for some reason, never have been able to figure that one out.
