But how many have you actually seen in the wild?

I can only remember seeing 2 while walking and 3 or 4 while driving
They hear you coming and move away

I have only seen a dead baby tiger snake here, and what looked like a baby snake a Kookaburra was picking up outside the window.

The fear that foreigners have over Australian animals is over board... Our bush is safer than most in the world

Oh yeah definitely, we don't have Grizzlies, black bears, cheetahs or tigers chasing people.

I would poop my pants if I saw a Grizzly in woods of USA or Canada... Same with wolves lol

I remember...hitch-hiking days in 1970's.
---
'Jesus Movement' started in west coast..
- Spiritual Awakening/Revival.
- Impact on.. United States & beyond (overseas).
---
- 'Jesus Music'..
- Pioneering days of 'Contemporary Christian Music.'
--
"I was, and still am, Jesus people."
- I agree..
My hitchhiking was mostly done in Europe when I was student there 1969-1970. For our Christmas break I wanted to get away from the severe cold and snow of West Berlin and so I hitchhiked with another friend from California to Spain. The difference between Germany and Spain in the winter was like night and day. I met some good and interesting people hitchhiking.

When I came home to California I did not hitchhike any more but when I on the job delivering auto glass in a small pickup I would sometimes pick up hitchhikers going my way...

It has been raining a lot here. Unfortunately rain had been coming through the air conditioner in the living room. The floor underneath has become weak. May try to get help in getting the air conditioner outside sometime today. That is it for the weather report, am starting to get hungry and am thinking about eating some eggs, and potatoes.

Cheers, and thank you for reading.
Yesterday it was very hot, unseasonably so with the temperature hitting 100F. Today a cold front has arrived making a big change with the highs expected only in the upper 70's. It appears to be the beginning of Autumn with a chance of some rain...

Look... Evidence... Santa Claus is real

https%3A%2F%2Fspecials-images.forbesimg.com%2Fimageserve%2F1072185276%2FSanta-Claus-with-finger-on-the-lips%2F960x0.jpg%3FcropX1%3D0%26cropX2%3D6000%26cropY1%3D18%26cropY2%3D3393

See... The real Santa... Why else would there be songs films and cartoons about him...
Come Christmas time and the evidence is overwhelming... Santa Claus is real...
You can even go and meet him at the shopping center...
What more evidence does one need
Those reindeer have to be fast to make between Australia and Oklahoma and all the places in between in one day.
But then...

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her ’kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St. Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a pedler just opening his pack.
His eyes—how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle,
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

Okay, so I'll start:

Up here, snow on the ground but no snow fallen just lately. Dull day and cold.

The weather this evening is dark to mostly dark, followed by scattered light turning to mostly light and then bright light, in the morning...

Pull out the snowboard...
In the first pick i would pop up and do a stall trick on that little tree stump to the right
In the second pick i would launch off the ledge up on the left and land on the road
And in the third pick i would launch off the ledge on the right and land on the road
Those tracks on the road are mine from my board. Speed. Never mind your fancy tricks... Just go hard.;)
