You need to interpret that idea per God's written Word, and NOT by men's doctrine of a false pre-trib rapture theory.

The "hour of temptation" is about the time of "great tribulation" at the end of this world, which Christ's Church WILL GO THROUGH.

Lord Jesus said that time of great tribulation will be shortened for the sake of His elect...

Matt 24:21-22
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Who in their right mind would ever think that Christ's elect don't mean His faithful Church?? And per Matthew 24:23-26, Jesus also showed the pseudo-Christ that is to come will work great signs and wonders, that IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, would deceive even His "very elect."

Thus God's Word reveals Christ's faithful Church will... be here through the great tribulation, and that means that "hour of temptation" is about being tempted to bow to the WRONG CHRIST, a pseudo-Christ that comes first playing our Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus warned us about that coming event, Apostle Paul warned us about it, Apostle John warned us about it.

But you instead choose to listen to a bunch of men who follow a doctrine from the devil, falsely claiming we will be raptured prior to that tribulation???
