The promise by faith of Jesus Christ, being given to us, doesn't change the fact of indwelling sin.

There is a difference between:
Forgiven and Covered indwelling sin,
And
Indwelling sin that is not Forgiven or Covered.

There is a difference between:
Being a sinner who commits Sin,
And
Being a sinner who can no longer commit Sin

Glory to God,
Taken

I never said the righteousness of your claim. I said the RIGHTNESS of your claim.

Every born again person, is the Righteousness of God in Christ.
If you are born again, you are "in Christ".
There is no sin in Christ.
A born again person, is "the righteousness of God, in Christ".

The verse says....."as CHRIST IS....so are the born again, in...this WORLD".

So, is there sin in Christ?
Then get your faith in alignment with who you are "in Christ".

I guess that is a good way to avoid admitting you made a mistake.

I tend to give the verses and allow the reader to interpret them in light of each other, utilizing the hermeneutical method found in 1 Corinthians 2:13 (kjv).

1Co 2:13, Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

You assumption is that most people on a christian from even understand Grace.
So, as they dont, then they are not going to understand anything else..

God gives Light by laying it on previous revelation that you understand.
So, when 99% of the people here can't even accept that God keeps them saved, then this means that most of them are "fallen from Grace" and are trying to keep themselves saved by lifestyle and works.
This is a deceived mind. Its a person who is either not actually born again, or they are born again, but have never understood that what they do in life, their works, has no relationship to HOW and WHY God saved them using a Cross.

So, to post verses to this type of believer, or non, is like speaking chinese to a duck.
You're wasting your time.

ha you dont even see that you are speaking purely in definitives right there, huh, lecturing about not lecturing now

Teachers teach.
How you perceive it, is not something i can control.
See, if 40 people respond, and 37 "like" what i say, and yet you "perceive' it as "lecture", then 37 receive it correctly, and you are the issue.
What you should do, is figure out what it is that you don't like about "The GIFT of salvation" and post it in a Thread and then you and i can talk about that instead of us talking about your petty self centered feelings.

I know that you believe that.

However, I am going to take God at His word, where He says that His word will never return void (in Isaiah 55).
