I am intrigued by the testimony of those who claim to have "walked in the Spirit" for an extended (though finite) period of time. As described, this appears to be an altered state of consciousness in which one is totally in tune with the Holy Spirit and has no desire to satisfy the longings of the flesh. But, whenever someone claims to have done it, the usual suspects come out of the woodwork to jump all over them, feet first, with metal-spiked golf shoes. Let's not do that, though let's be discerning also.
Intriguing - but if this is entirely a gracious work of God, there is nothing we can do but petition God for it and continue to soldier on with whatever we've been given.
