What pre-tribulation rapture?

Of course ALL Christians shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (raptured) when Christ comes again. There is however an order, first those who died in faith are raised up from the graves, then all who are still alive at Christ's coming again shall be raised up with them.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 (KJV) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

There is no indication the rapture shall keep faithful saints from suffering great tribulation in this life. The Bible is replete with verses telling us there shall be tribulation as we proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ. In fact, we read that it is through much tribulation/affliction believers shall endure entering the Kingdom of God.

Acts 14:22 (KJV) Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV
16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Romans 6:3-4 KJV
3) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Who is taken in the pre-trib rapture? All who have been baptized into Christ, whether dead or alive in that day.

Much love!

yes, saints will have tribulations...but this is not the 7 year wrath/tribulation.

According to you and the way in which you used the verse above from Acts...only those who endure the 7 year tribulation will get into heaven. I disagree 100% with that view.

But we are off topic.

I'm not here to argue the biblical pre-tribulation rapture in the post...but if all saints will be raptured or just some of them when the rapture occurs.

According to referenced material written by pre-Jesuit christians...such as some early church fathers who had direct contact with the apostles.

I don't intend to argue this point as this link shows you are wrong. If you want to debate the post Jesuit or as other claims the post Darby ...read the article and start a new thread...as this current direction is off topic.

Thank you for the response. I see you as saying all christians will be raptured as all christians are baptized into Jesus Christ when they become saved.

Just like modern reformed preterism finds its foundations in the Jesuit theologian (Luis Del Alcazar)

Wikipedia: Luis del Alcázar (Ludovicus ab Alcasar, Louis of Alcazar) (1554–1613) was a Spanish Jesuit theologian.

He is known for his Vestigatio arcani sensus in Apocalypsi (1614) published after his death, putting forward what would later be called a preterist view of Biblical prophecy, in commentary on the Book of Revelation; his work is regarded as the first major application of the method of interpretation of prophecy by reading in terms of the author's contemporary concerns.

If Jesus said half as a percentage in mat 24 and 25 , then that means something.

Is "all go in the rapture" a part of assumption, or is there a sound argument placing all saints in the rapture?

It's inclusive language, "the dead in Christ", that is, all who have died being "in Christ". We which are alive and remain, same thing, inclusive language.

It's like if you were to refer to "the pennies in the jar", everyone knows you are saying this to include all the pennies in that jar.

And . . . "partial rapture" puts our works as more important towards having peace with God then being in Christ. It means Jesus isn't enough, and you have to have works to "complete" your salvation.

Much love!

Except the rapture is not salvation.
Those left behind are saved.
They are not the bride.

You think the carnal believers Paul described are not the secular pew sitters of today's church. ?

Read the 7 letters to the 7 churches.
Some are worthy some are not.
Yet the letters are to BELIEVERS.

If there is a lump gathered passively as you suggest, then the prayer of Jesus can be obeyed, or cast aside.
It would not matter if I obeyed Jesus command..." pray that you may be counted worthy to Escape the things about to come upon the earth and stand before the sun of man."
How many times does the bible use "worthy saints vs unworthy saints"?
See that?
Saved worthy saints
Saved unworthy saints.
Both are saved.

The rapture is the gathering of the bride, not carnal ,secular, but saved, pew sitters.

The paradigm is faulty CC, subsequently conclusions drawn will also be faulty.

First the dead in Christ then the alive ones
The ones LEFT BEHIND then go into the 7 year tribulation
1 Thess 4:

i agree. This occurs at the biblical pre-tribulation rapture.

I don't agree. The rapture occurs on the last day of this age.

yes, saints will have tribulations...but this is not the 7 year wrath/tribulation.

What seven-year wrath/tribulation? Great tribulation is the lot in this life as the gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ is being built.

That may be the way you read Acts 14:22, but the passage does not say only the saints alive when this was spoken must endure tribulation in this life. And again, why are you limiting tribulation to 7 years when the Bible repeatedly speaks of tribulation/affliction faithful believers, as we proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God must endure throughout their lives?

This is the topic! Because ALL believers shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds at His coming again.

Since the Bible says NOTHING about a pre-tribulation rapture, until you can prove what you allege, you're arguing against the truth.

ALL believers shall be caught up to meet the Lord to keep us from having part in the wrath of God that shall be fire that shall come down upon this earth. But the rapture does not keep us from tribulation/affliction that is ordained as we proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ.
