Why Do Biblically Illiterates Say Things Like, The YLT is the Only One to Read?

In this day and time, you can't even get anyone to stay in just one Bible version, much less only one. So why say things like the YLT is the only one to use?

Many wrongly think that I'm on a KJV only stance, but that's not true. The Bible study software I use has many different Bible versions. I refer to most all of them from time to time, but I 'trust' the Bible versions that used the Traditional Greek texts the most, and that's not just one version.

The only Bible I recommend having 'first', is Bullinger's KJV study Bible, called The Companion Bible.

The YLT only confuses many Bible passages with 'modernisms'.

Gen 1:1-2
1 In the beginning of God's preparing the heavens and the earth —

2 the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness [is] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters,

"preparing"? How's that compare with "created"(KJV)?
"fluttering"? vs. "moved"(KJV)

The only idea it got close to was that "the earth hath existed waste", which is closer to the Hebrew of 'an indistinguishable waste and a ruin' (Hebrew tohu va bohu). Genesis 1:1 was God's original perfect creation. Genesis 1:2 the earth had 'become' a waste and a ruin. The YLT supplanted the Hebrew idea of 'become' or 'became' with "hath existed", which is more accurate per the Hebrew, but still has that "void" idea added to it that strikes out the fact that the earth "hath existed waste" by becoming a waste and a ruin per Jeremiah 4:23-28. Genesis 1:1 was God's original creation, the old world when Satan followed God (per Ezekiel 28). Genesis 1:2 is the earth laying in a waste and ruin state with waters of flood over all the earth, which God caused because of Satan's rebellion against Him. Thus from Genesis 1:2 forward is God's creation of this present 2nd world earth age we are now in.

And even the KJV translation gets away from the actual Hebrew meaning of that "without form, and void" passage with the earth actually laying in a waste state with waters of a flood upon the whole existing earth there. There is no passage after Genesis 1:1 of God creating the literal material earth. He had already created it at verse 1.

We all have our preferences, but I do find that our choices in versions generally set the mode for our beliefs. Rarely do you hear someone use God's name that prefers a version that tries to remove it.

Are you aware that the orthodox Jews believe that words have 'power', like a mystical thing? That is actually a belief from occult mysticism. They see how God 'spoke' and created whatever He wanted to happen, so they think words today can have some kind of mystical power.

And that... idea is what translated over into the false belief that if we don't use the proper name for God that He won't hear our prayers.

The JW organization wrongly assumes even the KJV translators erred by using Greek 'theos' for God in the New Testament instead of sticking with 'Jehovah' as per the Old Testament. Thus the Jehovah Witness organization CREATED THEIR OWN BIBLE VERSION that uses Jehovah in the New Testament!

So Robert, don't expect me to lighten up on your JW beliefs that disagree with God's Word. If you want to have an intelligent Biblical conversation, you're going to have to learn to quell those JW ideas that have been programmed into you by them.

When you say 'Jesus Christ' you are also saying YaHaVeh, which 'Jehovah' is actually a TRANSLITERATION from the Hebrew, and NOT the actual Name of God per exact Hebrew!!!!

So whatever language one speaks, their Bible translation is going to use the name they understand as The GOD of The Bible. And God knows how we 'hear' and 'speak', because He is Who confused the one tongue at the tower of Babel event into the various root languages of the nations.

Whatever version you use, they are all useless unless the Holy Spirit leads you into all truth. Without him, no version is correct.
