The "elect" mentioned here should not be confused with the Church, nor should this event be confused with the Resurrection/Rapture.

This is a reference to the gathering of the believing remnant of Israel to the land of Israel AFTER the Second Coming of Christ.

But at the Second Coming , Christ comes WITH His saints and angels. These saints are the Church, the Body of Christ.

...and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. (Zech 14:5)

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. I condemn no one. If I made you feel guilty, then maybe you ought to do a self-inspection to find out why you feel guilty?

A job as helper in God's Word that He has given me is to help others get into His Word so they can learn what He says vs. what man says. The fact that I'm just a man and have opinions is irrelevant. It's about what God's Word says, not man.

But by what you stated in previous posts about there being so much confusing doctrines out there, and not knowing which one to follow, reveals a simple problem. It means you are listening to men when you should be listening to God directly in His Word, and that means needed disciplined Bible study. But by what you stated in previous posts about there being so much confusing doctrines out there, and not knowing which one to follow, reveals a simple problem. It means you are listening to men when you should be listening to God directly in His Word, and that means needed disciplined Bible study. And yes, you WILL... be graded for not doing that study, if you are able. But not by me, but by HIM!

Now someone who absolutely is not able to do their own Bible study because of some handicap, He well understands, and will help those believers in His Own way and time, which is one of the reasons for His future Millennial reign when His faithful will be teaching those who erred the difference between the holy and the profane.
