The Scripture are in the Text, and Scripture does not lie. Some Scripture is prophetic. If God has said it, it will come to pass. Hence, these Scripture should be evaluated for their prophetic significance, meaning, and impact on believer today. When these Scripture are put together line upon line, what is the outcome. Well, let’s take a look. Do be diligent to see if I am in error if you must because I do not wish to spread lies. 1.Matthew 5:17-2017 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Some people say that the law is passed away because Christ fulfilled the law completely by His death at the cross. Jesus no longer has anything else to fulfill. Paul put an end to this debate by establishing that the saints were under grace. Things like Sabbath observance and Holy Days had been done away with and replace by a new torah. 2.Isaiah 66:22-2422"For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me," says the LORD, "So shall your descendants and your name remain. 23And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me," says the LORD. 24"And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh." Now this contradicts what some say about the Sabbath being erased and no longer needs to be observed. In His prophetic look into eternity, Isaiah sees saints to include gentiles following the practices of Sabbath and Holy Days. These happenings are post crucifixion of Christ. How are the Holy Days and Holy Convocations being observed in heaven, if they are done away with now on Earth. 3.Zechariah 14:1616 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Now Zechariah is given a prophetic glimpse into eternity of the Millennium reign. He witnesses the people celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles. This also is also post crucifixion of Christ. If the law is fulfilled, why are these events taking place. All theof remaining people are celebrating a Holy Day. 4.Daniel 7:21-2521 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Some horn has an interest for fighting against the saints. What is one of the means that He fights against the saints? He changes the times and laws of God. He prevails against the saints by taking away their truth and giving them lies that they receive and accept. 5.Daniel 8:9-149And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land. 10And it grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them. 11He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. 12Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered. 13Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking, "How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?" 14And he said to me, "For two thousand three hundred days; F24 then the sanctuary shall be cleansed." This horn continues its assault against the saints. It tramples the truth of God and wars against His people. He wars against saints not just with a sword; but in the realm of controlling the saints religion, ideology, and prospective. The following prophetic signs are given:1.It changes the times and laws of the saints2.It persecutes the saints who do accept its religion3.It tramples the truth by trying to kill4.It destroys the temple and stops the sacrifices5.It judges Israel for their unbelief in Christ and transgression6.It exalts itself to the same authority of Jesus7.It holds influence and control over the saints. A part of me wants to deviate for another topic. The Spirit tells me that the saints have also been and are judge for their transgressions; just like the first covenant saints were judge for transgressing and rejecting God's truth. However, I will continue with the topic for now, that is another study for me.This horn acts after the crucifixion of Christ. It directs its actions toward natural Jews first in destroying the Jew's rebellions. Then it eventually attacks the saints, however, not just by violence, but by deception and guile also. It attempts to envelope the saints into its religion system of pagan and created customs. There are many more Scripture from the Prophets that point to prophetic events that deal with the continuation of His Sabbaths and Holy Days post Christ and into eternity. However, we miss and ignore the Prophets. Why, because we threw them away also. You see Jesus connected something to the Prophets in Matt 5:17, it was the Torah. Since we threw Torah away, we had no choice but to throw the Prophets away; otherwise, how could we honestly say that Paul was only talking about one of them when Jesus connected their passing away together. The Scripture of the Prophets still tell of events of post Christ resurrection. Hence if the Prophets words as inspired by God have not passed away, then how can we say the Torah has passed away. Have we accepted the horn’s religion and has he stolen our religion?

This age (dispensation) was not seen by the prophets nor recorded in the O.T. and the first 4 book of the N.T. Like Paul wrote,"it was hidden in God."The gospel of the kingdom that Jesus preached was the fulfilling of O.T. prophecy. He was there to setup the promised kingdom on earth. But He didn't because the Jews rejected Him.In this age God has turned to the Gentiles (and any Jews that will accept Jesus' death as their salvation apart from their works).God keeps His promises. When this age of God's grace is over, God will turn back the the Jews and setup their promsed kingdom on this earth. In this kingdom God will write His Laws in their hearts and the Law of Moses will be in effect again.Richard

And, when you're duped... you don't know you're duped... otherwise you wouldn't be duped.When Jesus was taken before Pilate, the Jews accused HIM of leading the people astray. That being said, I am very thankful for God's grace. I have little doubt that there is something I am duped on, right now, at this very moment. I imagine I have accused Jesus (in others) of duping His people when He obviously would not be... and I imagine I have also been accused of the same. But, this one thing (if there was only one thing) I know I am not duped on... and that is God's grace in Christ for those He has chosen, and saved.I believe that often WE can be leading people astray... in our selfishness like the false prophets in Micah 3:5, who promise peace to those that feed them, and war to those the do not. I am certain there are many chosen that have been duped... and are duping, yet, still in His grace, by His grace, and for His glory, all who were chosen are saved and sealed until He comes. And thankfully, unlike a perishable item like canned corn or bagged sour kraut, which is sealed with an expiration date by mortal men... our salvation has no such expiration date, because we are sealed by the EVERLASTING IMMORTAL SPIRIT OF GOD. And, we are sealed FOR HIM as long as it takes Him to come again; we are not sealed for our own glory, but rather, we are sealed FOR HIS GLORY
How many really believe Paul's gospel was hidden in God and revealed to him for this age of grace? How many see the gospel of grace as being the same gospel Jesus and the 12 taught and Paul's words are in error?To some, their eyes gloss over the words of Paul so that they can believe all that is written in the Bible is for them.All of the Bible is written FOR US to learn but not all of it is written TO US. This last horn will arise after the ten, it is different than the ten and it subdues three of the ten. History IMO bears this out.In Daniel 8, we have a "little horn" which comes from out of one of the four. Can we identify this?We begin with a ram with two horns [cf Dan 8:3]. Along comes a goat with a prominent horn [cf Dan 8:5]. The goat shatters the horns of the ram and tramples him to the ground [cf Dan 8:7]. The goat becomes great, but at the height of his power, his large horn is broken off [cf Dan 8:8]. In the place of this horn, four prominent horns grow up [cf Dan 8:8]. Jesus made His attitude toward God’s Law plain in the “Sermon on the Mount.”Jesus made three emphatic declarations about The Law.In Mat. 5:17 Jesus said “Do not (even) think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. In doing this Jesus was fulfilling a prophecy in Isa. 42:21 where He was prophesied to “exalt” or “magnify” The Law and make it honorable. Jesus was giving us the true intent of the law, not what the teachers of His day had distorted it into. By the way the teachers of today still do the same thing.This in no way means that we can earn salvation. We can’t do anything in our short, pathetic, weak, lives to earn salvation. We have nothing in this life that is worth eternal life.Only God’s grace and mercy can cause Him to give us eternal life. But God has made it more that plane that He will not give eternal life to anyone He can not trust or rule.
Hey Richard, I see what you mean now. My bad............There is no dispute about the horn, just my confusion. You are right. They are two different horns, hence their effect on the people are different. So, the compiled list comes out different. The Daniel 7 Horn or King (?) Anti-Christ? God's Word is not to be taken from one thing He says, but from all things He says. We lets God's Word interpret God's Word. Of course we know this. Many would take verses like these and twist them to their own destruction... making salvation something we earn by works.

It is interesting that we are saved by grace through faith... oh, but not our faith... that not of ourselves. Not even the faith that saves us is of ourselves... it is a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Interesting.Should we keep the law? Yes. Amen. Will we be justified before God by our works? Yes. Amen again. However... I defintely DO NOT SAY AMEN if the justification we are speaking of is justification for salvation. The justification we as Christians experience for our works (good or bad) is not and cannot be for salvation. Otherwise, we are consequently saved by works (works of our own, not of grace.) (we are justified by works for salvation). This is a great error to think we will be before Him, and only allowed to enter heaven on our own merits (works "through faith").We are saved by grace, through faith; and that not of our own. It is a gift of God. Not of works, lest any man boast.We are in no way, whatsoever, justified by works as far as salvation is concerned. Our works, through faith, however will justify us for our possition IN HEAVEN. But, we will be IN HEAVEN... because He has done all the work for us. No works needed. There are no works good enough to get us in. There are no works evil enough to get us out. If we are justified by our works for salvation, then we know Christ died in vain. We are saved by grace through faith; and that not of our own. It is a GIFT of God. NOT OF WORKS, lest any man boast.-------------If we are saved by our own works, and by works we are justified for salvation, then perhaps it should be re-written to say what Paul should have meant in Ephesians 2:8-9:"We are saved by grace through works of faith; and works of your own. But, we can see how a works for justification for salvation Gospel would dramatically change God's Word, and His gift of eternal life... and Christ work for us. Amen. However, I think the number one thing that most people fail in obedience to is being obedient to God's grace. They try to make salvation out of our works or obedience to good works, and in doing so, they fail miseribly at being obedient to the number one thing we are called to be obedient to--trusting Christ for our salvation!Rather than accepting salvation as a gift, they pander it is a trophy through obedience to the law... which is a grevious contridiction, and frustrates the Gospel of Grace because they fail to be obedient to The Gospel of grace, which is first and formost, the cause for why Christ died and why we are Christians at all.
