Why were the Jews hated?

  1. The Jews were expelled from many areas and countries.
  2. The Jews were often persecuted and killed.
  3. The Bible calls the Jews enemies of mankind and children of the devil.
  4. The Bible calls the Jews murderers of Christ and the prophets.
  5. Martin Luther called the Jews the worst enemies after the devil.
  6. The church fathers and the reformers were anti-Judaists.
My question to you: Why were the Jews hated? Were they hated because they were innocent or was there a legitimate reason?
Maybe if you can find a copy of "Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion", in and of itself, it will deliver their core of understanding to you, that first and foremost, according to them, the "goyim" (gentiles) do not deserve to live, and that they themselves are "the Savior of the world", and they shall rule the earth".
Does that sound like anything familiar today?
