The primary subjective driver of God's Kingdom is what happens in a persons mind/heart; who in reality their allegiance is fixed on.
This is not solely about a cognitive interest. A cognitive interest alone fools the participant. Proverbs 18:2 describes this '“Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.

When Jesus uses the term 'born again' he is referencing a change of heart, a switch of allegiance; a switch which initiates a whole new thinking/seeing process.

Sin is a sabotaging phenomena.

When Paul says, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” he is stating a fact not making a threat to those who choose the sabotaging route.
What your describing is a result of being born of God, not being born again.
Being born again is God giving to us a new heart and a new spirit, one that is teachable about the kingdom of God, one that is interested in following Christ
After being born of God, we hear what God says as we are of God, as in of the Spirit, and no longer of the flesh.

John 8:47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

Romans 8, the carnal mind is angry against and dislikes Christ, that is enmity means. The carnal mind cannot believe in Christ as it is NOT subject to the laws of God nor indeed can be, that is impossible.

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be [b]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7 Because the [c]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

@Scott Downey ....and in my estimation you pursue this route because you have a dim view of the nature of the Kingdom of God.

No, I pursue going after the truth as that is what the scripture teaches.
Your view of the nature of God is strangely corrupted away from scripture.
And this is true of many people on this forum who teach strange things different from what scriptures say, they just make up clever sounding stories.

God is the one who saves those He called to be saved, and what is true is not all people are called. Only His people will be called by Him, no one else is called in such a way that they actually are saved.

God's saints are called to be saints of God and so then that is what happens to them, they become His saints.

Romans 1:7
To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 9:15
And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:30
Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Romans 9:23-24
23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

1 Corinthians 1:24
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:24
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:26
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.

2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Galatians 5:19 - Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:9 - Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
