My wife and I were in the worst of conditions when God witnessed to us through a couple a few years younger than us. The witness had effectively occurred about two years before we were drawn in to the Lord and the result was our conversion. He saved our marriage when He saved our souls in 1976.
Notice that after we had witnessed God's glory, it was two years before the vision of Him was accepted by us for what it was. Only after that did we begin attending any church services:
Give God the glory!
