Betchevy, I am not condemning anyone to do anything. I am simply asking that the Word of God be considered. It is not always easy to walk according to the Word of God, and believe me, I know. If her husband (forgive me Faithful1, I do not like addressing a situation with the one that is involved in the situation not being the one I am addressing, or dialoguing with, but if you will permit...) believes that Jesus is the Son of God, who lived a perfect life, died on the cross for his sins, and rose again, then he is saved. John 3:16-18, John 10:28-30, Romans 8:1.

he hasn't done' anything for Jesus or about Jesus since then...

You know this for a fact? Is it doing something for Jesus that saves us? If not, then why do you say that not doing anything for Jesus will condemn us? If not doing anything for Jesus condemns us, then it would only make sense that doing something for Jesus will save us.

but you want to make her feel guilty about getting rid of him... why can't you just either shut up or tell our sister you'll pray for her...

While we are commanded to pray for one another, we are also commanded to encourage each other to good works and to follow the Word of God. If such was not the case, then we can delete nearly all of the Old and New Testament, for in it is found commands from people such as Paul to the Churches to obey the Word of God. It's not always comfortable, but it is right.

1. I am not trying to run her life. 2. It is not my place, nor do I claim it my place to convict her of these things. That is what the Holy Spirit is for through the Word of God. But, how can we be convicted of right and wrong if we do not know what the word of God says? 3. If her mind is changed about her husband, and she decides to move back in to help him battle this sin, I say, Praise the Lord! And I believe, with all my heart, that God will be glorified in such a decision, and will do a wonderful work there. I leave that to her and the Lord, though. The only place I claim here is to present the Word of God and to encourage that it be considered.

She is a grown woman under the power and authority of Jesus Christ HE is her covering and the leader of her home and frankly she doesn't need your advice...I think she told you that 3 pages ago...

so you follow baptist theology. I was guessing you were either presbitarian or baptist. But baptists are very aggressive and suffer from superiority complex IMHO. forgive me if I sound judgemental but that's the impresssion they always give me.
And many Baptist are like that, and wrongfully so. But, do we not all suffer from pride? You may particularly be thinking about Bible Baptists, or Southern Baptists. (There are nearly 100 different types of Baptists, and not all are the same.) But, as you most likely do, I recommend taking each person as a person and not a denomination.
Actually I am very surprized at this forum. Most forums are just like you about my convictions.
Would you be willing to discuss (not debate[more for me, than you, as I like to debate...]) them, the convictions, that is, and what the Word of God says? My heart goes out to you and the situation that you find yourself in.
Why do you ignore Jesus' warnings? Why does he repeated tell His followers about importance of being faithful servants?

Do you realize that OSAS theology is making God and Jesus such hypocritical and disgracing them? this is just common sense, writer. We ought to be godly witnesses for Jesus otherwise. Who would listen to us if we are no different than world? When the theology is not in line with God's character it is not of God and Biblical.

some are much worse than the other. I have been into many forums and Baptists are the worst. Many of them believe they have right to judge everyone if one don't agree with them. Two of the baptists(mods) followed me to other forum when they found out where I was, they came in so they can harrase and heckle me and insult me and end up succeeded to ban me. This kind of behavior does not bother mainstream forums either. Jesus says if we follow Jesus we will be persecuted. You don't realize that you are persecuting fainthful ones. You don't realize you are behaving like RCC.

I don't quote the Scriptures like you do but I use the Bible knowledge in everything I do and say; you don't seem to recognize it and it is revealing your faith my friend. faithful1 is right writer she is telling you the same thing I have been trying to tell you the truth of God can not be found by quoting scripture alone.God is not about scholarly things.It not about proving you are right. Its like when you teach a child something you do not care if he remembers the date,time and place I told him, but rather that he understands the message and that it is because you love him that you teach it. You want to define the bible to the facts strictly the facts. that in turn reduces Gods word to a court room. Gods word is a loving home where the facts are weighed with love and understanding and compassion. Who do you think God is going to bless the person that truly understood his loving message or the guy that says I don't know what it meant, but I know where it is ?
