Pastors convinced Jesus will return in days amid hints of the rapture

Prominent religious figures have gone viral online, sharing a claim that the end of the world could come during the Jewish Feast of Trumpets this month.

On September 24 we’ll have another example in the books of the folly that is setting dates for the return of the Messiah.

Harold Camping made a fortune leading gullible people to believe him when he foretold the date of the rapture.

Multiple times.
One of his followers was a multimillionaire. She left him her entire fortune so he could continue his ministry.

Her only heir apparent tried to stop the bequest, but she lost in court.

Joshua experienced some technical problems getting online but he’s streaming live now. He says he’s had another vision and in the vision he didn’t see exactly what time the rapture is happening today but in the vision it happened near the time of sunset in South Africa.

He’s supremely confident.

This is terribly sad to watch. It’s a painful episode of Christian history that should be witnessed and learned from.

None of us today were alive to witness the Great Disappointment of 1844. We‘re witnessing today the Great Disappointment of 2025.

We can read about it or we can experience it. Experiencing it has a greater impact on the heart and mind than reading about it later will.

Joshua said he was looking at two specific times today: sunset in Jerusalem (which has passed now) and midnight in Jerusalem. He reiterated that he wasn’t given the exact time the rapture would happen today and he’s not discouraged that it didn’t happen at the first time he was focusing on. He remains confident in the date.

They’re on intermission until 4:00 p.m. EST. That means they’ll resume about an hour before midnight in Jerusalem. Some of them are starting to break down now. Others are urging them to remain hopeful.

It’s now past midnight in Jerusalem. No one has been raptured but there is still certainty being expressed. As long as it is still the 23rd somewhere in the world, anywhere in the world, the prophecy hasn’t failed. The window still has 13 hours left.

Joshua is now saying as long as the calendar doesn’t reach September 25 anywhere in the world, the prophecy hasn’t failed. The panel is confused, Joshua is stammering and saying that he doesn’t understand what they are asking him.

In #20 on the previous page, I posted two scriptures that provided clues as to when Jesus would return in all of His glory to gather His elect to Himself.

The timing given by both passages follows the period of time when the sun will be ashamed and the moon will be darkened, that follows when the heavenly hosts, who will be judged in our near future, will finally be punished for their rebellion against God and the deeds that they engaged in against God and His elect.

During this time of great tribulation, the elect will be refined and purified with all of the dross removed from our lives. This period of the elect being refined happens just before the elect stand before the Christ to be judged.

This time of refinement requires us to trust God completely and to worship Him in our time of distress, whatever that may look like, for each and every one of us elected Saints.

God will give us our release from our distress, and we will enter into the GWTR with joy in our hearts knowing that the treasure that we have stored up in our hearts has kept us from falling as we face the life troubles that befalls us all.

Where our treasures are stored, there our hearts will also be, and their value will be beyond any measure that we might have.

Matthew 24:19-31 tells us when Christ will begin gathering His elect to Himself. This described event is still around 1,050 years from now.

It discounts the pre-trib rapture and tells us that all of the elect around that time will be refined in the turmoil of those days.

Yesterday at the bible study I attend with my wife, the question was asked, " How would you feel if you had to stand before God's throne today? Why?".

The initial responses were fearful in that the those speaking did not believe that they would be able to do enough to be able to stand before God's Throne or be able to provide enough evidence that they were part of His elect.

During the discussion of this question, it was pointed out that the evidence will be in the treasure(s) that we accumulate and that we chose to store those treasures in heaven.

Those that were unsure began to smile when the realisation came that they were deliberately choosing to store all of their treasures in Heaven.

This happens every year. It's not worth paying much attention to imo. But I realize for some people it's vastly important that they magnify the failures of a few. It makes them feel important, and it's a further attack on Christian faith.

Only the Father knows by scripture just live your life.I go by scripture which says

Matthew 24:36

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

I was actually thinking about that - that the whole world would change in a hour from good to bad.

May the Fathers will be done - come Lord Jesus and bring us into your kingdom.
