Exhortation - July 16, 2026

  • Welcome to Christian Forums, a Christian Forum that recognizes that all Christians are a work in progress.

You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

Ezekiel 26:9 - "He will pound your walls with battering rams and demolish your towers with sledgehammers."

The battering rams and the sledgehammers are a representation of the Word of God and the force behind it. As you begin to declare the Word of God like a battering ram, with the backing of Heaven, you will break through the gates and walls that have kept you from breakthrough.

In the story of King Jehoash and the prophet Elisha (2Kings 13:14-19), the prophet told the king to shoot the arrow where the glory was. The prophet called the arrow "the Lord's arrow of victory." The glory and His Word will manifest the victory every time. Elisha tells the king to take the other arrows (Word of God) and strike the ground. The king struck the ground only 3 times, and the prophet got mad at him and told him, "...You should have struck the ground five or six times..." (2 Kings 13:19).

The king struck the ground according to the measure of his faith. Striking the ground 3 times only enabled a partial victory and breakthrough.

We have to stop settling for partial breakthroughs and victories. Take the arrows of the Word of God, and strike the ground for the complete manifestation of victory. Breakthrough is here and now. Strike the ground and release the breaker!

Proverbs 29:25 - "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe."

We struggle with prioritizing the opinions of others, fearing how they perceive us. However, God is relentlessly calling us into a place of freedom.

Striving for other's accemptance of us can turn into a form of idolatry. When we obsess over how other people perceive ourselves, becoming overly concerned with what they may think of us, we can lose sight of our Christ identity, which is how the Lord truly sees us. It requires great courage to break away from the familiar, especially if these unhealthy lifestyles have been modeled to us by others from a very young age. We must be brave enough to break out of the mold that others may seek to confine us to.

Oftentimes, when you begin to wholeheartedly pursue your calling in Christ that God has placed on your life, your life can start to offend those closest and most familiar to you. This is part of "the sharing of His sufferings" that Philippians 3:10 talks about. We are commanded to bless, release, and move forward with a clean heart, embracing high expectation.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10

EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE.

NOTHING is too hard for Him, and He is teaching us how to walk in supernatural power and wisdom. We have been given the measure of faith and the gift of the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us into ALL truth. It's a supernatural COMPASS that directs us and guides us when we have no natural vision to see ahead.

Literally, EVERYTHING we do is by faith. The change in circumstances is HIS responsibility, not ours. He has promised to complete the work He has started in us, to fulfill His plan and future for our lives, to open shut doors to bring forth the Great Commission, fill us with the knowledge of Him and His will through the Spirit, and be fruitful in everything we do, growing in the knowledge of God (see Colossians 1:9-12).
