Before I start this blog, I will like to apologise for the long hiatus.
The Holy Spirit, is our inner being, it lives inside of us. Doctors cannot even identify, the Holy Spirit with their medical instruments. 1 Corinthians 6:19. ‘Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
Jesus even have confirmed that the Holy Spirit lives in us. John 14: 16-17 ‘And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.’
The feeling of the Holy Spirit is simply allowing it takeover, and you having no control of your mind/body. It is even compared to feeling drunk in Ephesians 5:18. ‘Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,’
Anyone can ask for the Holy Spirit because it is available to us all. Luke 11:13 ‘If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!’
You can ask for anything, The Spirit of love, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding.
I do remember mentioning in one of the previous blogs. King Solomon asking for the Spirit of wisdom (1st Kings 3:9-12).
The Holy Spirit will cause you to have spiritual gifts such as dreams, visions, speak in tongues, and interpret tongues (Acts 2).
