Virtual Trip to The Zoo

Sorry that this is a bit late but since hardly anybody responds to my Growing In Christ thread anymore I figured that I would just post this here,.. and it's a good event for Earth Day since animals are a part of earth and nature. @FluffyYellowDuck, @Tone, @Devin Wintch, @Michael1985. :)

Yeah, I haven't been there since I was a kid, I remember it was a lot better than the L.A. Zoo...

The L.A. zoo had this scrawny poor looking creature they called a lion...kinda chokes me up to think about...

Oh, I just looked it up, it's not the San Diego zoo I went to before, it's a ways away--an actual reserve I believe. Yeah, I remember my Mom saying something about my niece not wanting to go where the animals were in cages.

I don't like animals in cages either. I prefer for them to be in enclosures. :)

We used to have season passes to the San Diego zoo. I went there a lot with my wife and kids I had then.

Oh we love the zoo. I'll have to share some past pics of the animals. This is kangaroo from the ararat zoo in Kentucky. Part of the ark experience. They were so friendly.

What creeps me out is snakes used to have legs before being cursed to the belly. *Shivers*
