I really wish people would stop saying "OSAS is a license to sin".Then OSAS is a license to sin - and universalism is correct doctrine.
And again,,, well said...But it doesn't mean they didn't know of Him...
They did not have a relationship.
There's no "license to sin".
I really wish people would stop saying "OSAS is a license to sin".
Perhaps to someone who doesn't have all of the Biblical facts it may seem that way, but when you consider that the method of righteousness under the New Covenant is Jesus Himself Jeremiah 23:6, then, because they draw near to Him by trusting in Him (and do not shrink back) it makes perfect sense that they would have righteousness. Does the moon have its own light? No. The more exposed to the Sun it is the more light it has.It accurately describes the implications of the doctrine, not withstanding your high opinion of the practitioners.
I believe both of my {osas} "studies follow a Good Line of Scriptural Reasoning":It is 100% true that OSASers are not following a good line of Scriptural reasoning, but in many cases they have grace to live righteously--and A LOT more grace than many who reject OSAS.
All OSASers believe they follow good Scriptural reasoning--they don't.I believe both of my {osas} "studies follow a Good Line of Scriptural Reasoning":
God's OPERATION On All HIS New-born babes In CHRIST!
God's Eternal Assurance
And, thanks for your other "kind words!"
GRACE And Peace to you, Precious friend!
The exact opposite is what Jesus said in Matthew 7:21.
Chastisement, training, is God's promise. And afterward, the peaceable fruits of righteousness. So many contradictions ... if there is no license to sin, which I agree with, then, there must be consequences and death is the ultimate consequence.
Jesus obeyed the father even unto death...
HE IS THE mark, and model
The key is first having life.....the second part looks like justification
For look at Gal 2:16
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
So now we are at Justification
And will asked How is Justified by the faith ofChrist?....brb
Having faith is not a works gospel, lol. You're just trolling us, right? The works gospel is anything that is added to the blood atonement.
Faith in Christ is a self-savers gospel? You're just trolling us, right? Lol.That is the self savers gospel.
The faithfulness of His ministry is indeed the very reason we are told to hold fast to our hope, in faith....Gal 2:16
Was one of the most interesting passages I seen...in the kjv
For....there...we learn about the faith of Christ......but it can mean the faithfulness of Christ.
That he lives forever to INTERCEED for those who come to Him.
@Corlove13The faithfulness of His ministry is indeed the very reason we are told to hold fast to our hope, in faith....
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
Christ's ministry is able to deliver you into the kingdom of God (unlike the Levitical priesthood). So don't give up on the hope you have.
Lol, I can see how that sounds so irrational to you. It sounds irrational to you
The saved, believing, converted Christian is exhorted to keep believing so they do not lose the benefit of so great a High Priest and Sacrifice....
Therefore, since we have a great high priest...let us hold firmly to what we profess. Hebrews 4:14
The reason to keep believing is right there!
I actually believe it's the difference between what comes first... how people view justification conversion and regeneration
And then the flow of what does come first..
is composed of God being with and in.
OSAS is your way of getting to the point where you trust in God; many who do not hold to OSAS have trouble getting to trust in God, but that doesn't mean they're wrong about OSAS, it just means they have trouble dealing with all of the Scriptures (they don't just dismiss certain ones). Not ALL men are Justified.
The difference between ... The Saved Forever and The Unsaved is the crux of the matter of;
OSAS.
