Correct.John 3:27-29 KJV
[27] John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. [28] Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. [29] He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
With that, even the Catholic opponents (they oppose Scripture, that is) would agree--it's not in contention."He who has the bride is the bridegroom".
Right--Christ.John heard the bridegrooms voice.
We don't know that he saw the bride, he only says he heard the voice of the bridegroom--and following the Adamic typing, it is likely there would not have been a way for him to have "seen" the bride, since Adam's bride was his own body which was later fashioned into a bride for him.How did John see the bride?
He said his joy was made full because the bridegroom had the bride, and the voice he heard was from heavenCorrect.

Right--Christ.
We don't know that he saw the bride, he only says he heard the voice of the bridegroom.
1. The context was a denial that he was the Messiah (King of Israel)--ie, "I'm not the Messiah--just as the one who has the bride is the bridegroom, but the bridegroom has friends who are happy for him, so also I am not the Christ (the King over God's People), I am just one of his obedient servants who is happy for him."He said his joy was made full because the bridegroom had the bride, and the voice he heard was from heaven
Who’s the bride?
Ok, so the Baptist upon baptizing Jesus saw the church?1. The context was a denial that he was the Messiah (King of Israel)--ie, "I'm not the Messiah--just as the one who has the bride is the bridegroom, but the bridegroom has friends who are happy for him, so also I am not the Christ, I am just one of his obedient servants who is happy for him."
2. The Bride is the Church--concerning this, I already pointed you to Ephesians 5, but you had no regard but started arguing with me.
You know you could read the Bible. LOLOk, so the Baptist upon baptizing Jesus saw the church?
what did John see?
John 1Ok, so the Baptist upon baptizing Jesus saw the church?
what did John see?
The bride were born of the Spirit!John 1
29The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30This is He of whom I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.’ 31I myself did not know Him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that He might be revealed to Israel.” 32Then John testified, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove and resting on Him. 33I myself did not know Him, but the One who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is He who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 34I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.h”
When John referred to "bridegroom and bride", the context was a denial he (ie, John the Baptist) was himself Messiah/Christ.He said the bridegroom has the bride.
what did John see?
If you're inferring the Spirit is the Church, let me just advise that these are not things to be taken lightly--better to pray and ask God for understanding than to blurt things out which may be disrespectful. The Spirit is God. The Church is not God.Matthew 3:16 KJV
[16] And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
The bride, mentioned there, is the City of God, New Jerusalem--so called because Jerusalem was the place where God had had His Temple, the place He lived on earth, but we are now His Temple where He lives on earth.#194.
The apostle John saw the same bride descending from heaven. Adorned as a bride.
Completely on topic. The bride is the City of God, New Jerusalem--so called because Jerusalem was the place where God had His Temple but we are now His Temple.
I think we are done with this now as we are quite far off topic.
The topic is "Mary is not New Eve".Completely on topic.
Paul affirms we are all born of Jerusalem above. She’s free.
