Ps. It was written to a church, not everyone in any church is saved, paul called many of these people fools because they trusted in a gospel that was another gospel. These people, where not Christians. Your wrong
"4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace."

I know that doesn't fit OSAS but God said it.

BINGO! They fell from Grace. I guess Paul wasn't familiar with OSAS.
Bingo

they never had salvation

Paul understood osas quite clear, it is you who does not understand it, your hate is to deep so your mind is closed to learn what it truly teaches

You mean the part that doesn't fit OSAS.

"4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace."
They attempted to be saved by the law

that’s not osas. And it’s why they fell from grace

everyone is offered grace, many come to it, even get involved in a church. But never truly accept it. They just believe in Jesus, they do not trust him with the living faith that does.

many are licentious, and although they go to church, as in James, that have no works, they have a claimed faith only many are legalistic. They come from legalistic backgrounds and try this new faith based program, but in the end, they do not like it, they missed the works based religion, like the jews and the law many tried Christianity, but in the end, they truly believed in the law. So they either tried to add works of the law to faith or went back completely to the law

they fell from grace.
It does not mean they were ever saved, paul stated they were never saved, as did John

you want to work to earn salvation feel free. Your hurting yourself taking these passages out of context, not me

my eternity is in the hands of the living God, you evidently want to earn your way I l good luck

If you don't have Christian works you're not a Christian.

I would like to point out to onlookers, if you will read back a few posts, you will see this poster refuses to answer very simple questions. Why, because if he answered honestly, it would prove him wrong.

A sure sign we have another false prophet in our midst who is hiding the truth.

Head for the hills,Ma Barker! Who “ IS” this Dastardly Fellow? We must rid ourselves of this Spawn of Satan!

There is an “ Obedience to the Gospel”..... I tend to that and the Rest has a way of taking care of itself.....Now, I’m no “ Nostradamus” , but I predict that you will never understand that... sad.

I see, you are easing away from obedience to God and minimizing it by now calling it obedience to the gospel.

I choose to be obediant to God, the being, not an idea..

If you want to be Obedient to God—— RESTING in His Gospel ( 1Cor15:1-4 ) is how you go about it....if you don’t do that , God says that you are “ Disobedient” and you are guilty of “ UNBELIEF” ..... Dismiss the Gospel as a mere “ idea” if you want.....the Truth is, that “ idea” has The Power to Save—- something the Law could never do....

Your “ Obedience to God” is a joke.....You can’t and don’t even keep the First Commandment do you? You, nor anybody else but Jesus ever “ Loved God with ALL of their heart, mind and soul.....you had better go find you some Grace that will save your Soul.....you ain’t fooling anybody....if this audience knew the “True You” the way that God does......we’d all be sick to our stomachs....and this goes DOUBLE for me...

Thanks for helping me to make my point.

It makes perfect sense you would handle my comment just as you did, fortunately most can see through you.

Good for them ! Hopefully they will see through your Hog-Wash Doctrines....I am here to help them....I can see already that you about to become an excellent “Springboard” to get the True Gospel Of Grace out there for other , poorly taught, Confused people.....Despite yourself, you will be doing something positive! And I enjoy nothing More Than “ Shooting Fish in a Barrel”.......

Please dont try to change the meaning of the term "obedient", its another poorly thought out trick or basically a clear lie. In spite of those who feel they can overide both God and our dictionary now with the meaning of terms, most can still see past your deception.

I would recommend onlookers see what false prophets feel they have to do in order to get people to believe their false, and very dangerious gospel...it's the natural order of things, one must tell lies in order to get others to believe their lies.

Your “ Obedience to God” is a joke.....You can’t and don’t even keep the First Commandment do you?

Now comes the age old trick many of us have seen so many times, if we aren't perfect, there is no sense in trying to be obediant.

Fortunately God is aware we aren't perfect, the very reason he sent his son that we might ask forgiveness when need be, but God never onnce even indicated we should throw up our hands and give up on trying to be obedient just because we aren't perfect.

Shame on those who twist the scripture in order to cause people to think they can do wrong and not concern themselves with it. Sounds a bit like something Satan might do, ;)

Good for them !

Yes, very good for those who can discern the evil ones and their ways from Gods ways. And for those who are new to this and cannot, there will be plenty of us here to help to guide them away from false teachers.

Gulp! ....and silly me thought for all of this time that Jesus said “ those that BELIVE in Me shall have Eternal Life and will NEVER Perish”..... back to the Drawing Board for old B B———- NOT!

“ doing good” = Believing

You didn't answer thw question. Why post obvious scriptire, oh, that's right, to try to confuse the issue, and to help you evade the question. Of course you have to belive in Christ, but you seem to be missing what that entails. Stating a truth, does not negate another truth as you clearly think it does.

John 14:15-31

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And that is to say, be obediant to God.

Now, could you please answer the question instead of avoiding it, do we have to do good in order to get to heaven?

mmm...I think you need to read it again.
Good morning, btw!
Let's do that. Oh, and good morning to you!

Let's begin reading....

5What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Corinthians 3:5-9

This is about the servants of God—God's co-workers—laboring in the field and building of God, which Paul says is 'you' (vs.9), meaning, in this case, the Corinthians. They are the field and building of God. Paul and Apollos, and whoever else, are assigned each his own task of laboring among the Corinthians. Some plant, some water, but the purpose is the same for all. And each laborer will be rewarded according to his own labor among the Corinthians (or any other field and building of God).

Pretty straightforward, right? The minister of God works where God has assigned him, planting and watering the field of God, and building the building of God, and he will be rewarded according to his labor. Paul and Apollos are the laborers, and the Corinthians are their work. I don't think you have any disagreement so far, right?

To have your works burned up is a bad thing for YOU.
