Keep the false accusations coming, lol! It's hard to just walk away, isn't it? That's your pride, friend. Get born again. Get victory over the flesh.Actually, it's just a terrific opportunity to illustrate when a person pulls out all the stops to deflect and avoid.
Much love!
So, I have to keep answering your questions, and you keep telling me I'm not answering them? Don't you see your problem? You want me to answer them with YOUR answers. That's why you keep saying I'm not answering them. How Nice!
Since you keep repeating over and over what you say I've said but that I've not said. That you keep on ad nauseum about how I won't answer your objections to what it is I did not actually say. But no . . . you don't want to rub anyone's nose . . .
But neither do you wish to actually engage with my posts, other than to try to distance yourself from having to answer.
Much love!
If only you knew, BB, if only you knew, lol! I might fill you in soon. When I close my account here. Stay tuned.
Lol, God as my witness.......Close your account? God answers prayers for certain! How can I help you “pack-up”....DUDE!
Supremely arrogant. For every “Springboard” that could not
Stand the “ heat” and “ left the kitchen”....
This is why I must consider you an unsaved person. I plainly showed you the 'nothing but the blood' gospel is the milk of the word. When someone can't see that plain truth in plain words of scripture you have to consider that person an unbeliever. If you are saved, your arrogance shows you're still a suckling baby. I'd show you the reference but I know you don't read Bible quotes (you said so) and you've also said your sinning doesn't matter to you. Teachings about not behaving arrogantly are the meat of the word. You're not eating that solid food yet. You're still drinking the milk of the word and thinking you're a grown up.Please come back when you are ready to preach Meat.....like, “ Nothing But The Blood”
To guard your ego I'll let you have the last word. I'm not unfamiliar with how the devil works and I definitely see he's using you and someone else to work his agenda in my peaceful life. You've been going full steam in that agenda of wickedness for a while now. Of course, you will deny this. You not caring about the harm you do to people in your abrasive demeanor tells us all we need to know about you. You'd care about that if you had the Spirit of God in you. I'm not going to play into the devil's hands by arguing with you about you. Maybe we'll talk in another thread. You erred when you tried to go beyond that....learn that Nothing actually means “ NOTHING”......”Dude”....( an expression that wasn’t even “cool” 50 years ago when it was popular)
Sorry, but you're greatly mistaken. When you receive the Holy Spirit through prayer and belief in the person of Jesus Christ, you are sealed for the day of redemption with His Spirit and there is nothing in scripture that says God will remove His Spirit and leave you to your fate. On the contrary there are multiple passages that assure us that He will never leave or forsake us and none of them are conditional. Of course, if you're a Christian in name only, never having received Him, there are no such guarantees. Why does anti-osas HAVE to mean salvation is earned by works?
Justification is secured by believing and trusting in Christ's completed but ongoing ministry in heaven. If you stop believing, his ministry is no longer interceding for you before the Father. You are lost. And if you resist God's efforts to get you to reconsider you will be turned over to that unbelief and God will never allow you to come back. So it has nothing to do with you not doing works to earn salvation. It has everything to do with whether or not you're going to keep believing. Thus the repeated exhortations in scripture to keep believing.
If unbelief were enough to cost someone their salvation, you and many others in the world would be in serious trouble
Aren't the above two quotes from the previous post a contradiction? Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life,
May I ask, do you work out your salvation? No, no, buddy. You're saying my believing is me working to earn my own salvation and take credit for it. You need to step up with some scripture. The ball is in your court. I'm leveling a direct challenge to your unscriptural accusation of me. You, apparently, are the one that can not respond. Prove to me that you can respond....show me the verse that says 'believing' is me trying to earn my salvation and boast about it.
Honestly you sound like a JW.
So then, those who did not continue were not really believers but unbelievers, right? The first Osas teaching in the church (circa. 1500, or so) taught that if a 'believer' stopped believing they didn't stop believing, they never really believed in the first place. That's why I said Marks would be better off going back to the original Osas teaching. At least it didn't say an unbeliever (one who stopped believing) was a saved person. It said they were never really saved to begin with. I can live with that. At least it agreed that you had to keep believing to the very end to be saved. If you didn't, you were just showing yourself to not ever be a real believer.Tong2020 said: ↑
Who were never saved that you refer to?
Did they stop believing in Jesus as the Messiah? If in your view, they did, please show in scriptures that they did.The saved, born again Galatians stopped believing.
Again, be careful not to misuse said passage.I answered this (1 Samuel 10:6), and because you don't like that answer, because it doesn't line up with your predetermined beliefs, you rejected it and claim I did not answer you.
May I ask, are you arguing that there could not be any one, who teaches that by continuing to believe will keep themselves saved, that boast and takes credit for that?I'm not new to on-line forums either. I've been doing this long enough to know that it's because you don't have a good answer to my challenge that you have to find fault in me. Just give me the scriptural basis for your accusation that someone telling you to keep believing is them telling you that you are trying to take credit for your salvation and earning it by thinking you must continue to believe to the very end.
And that is a picture of one who either did not really have understanding of who Jesus is, or of one who have not truly made up his mind regarding Jesus Christ.Yep! And you can take, or you can leave it. Your choice. The Galatians took it, then decided to leave it!marks said: ↑
However. Jesus is the originator and consumator of our faith.
If Nicodemus, who was Israel’s teacher, did not know of being born from above, what does that make of the Israelites (more so then the Gentiles)?Don't tell me, lol. Tell Jesus who chastised Nicodemus for not knowing about the born again experience from the OT scriptures that he was supposed to know since he was a teacher of Israel.
In your post 547I've said that repeatedly but you're answering something in your own mind, not my statements. Obviously the topic troubles you as it does all holders to works oriented notions of salvation.
How much is enough?
Is that why you are not saved? The saved, born again Galatians stopped believing.
