I believe that is your personal opinion. But okay,
@ByGraceThroughFaith. Because the fact of the matter is that anyone who believes on the name of the Son of God has eternal life, anyone who believes in their heart God raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead shall be saved to the kingdom heaven. Also believe that anyone who says that they love God yet hate another person is still wandering in darkness.
So you can say that is has to do with the "Trinity" and that you are soul winning by using that as a definition, why not instead teach and share about the lessons of Christ Jesus? How He told us to love, have mercy, forgiveness, and these things instead of worry about if someone believes your way or not, that is my question, but you do what you feel is needed.
Here are the scriptures to back up what the bible claims:
John 1:12: Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--
Anyone who receives Jesus and believe in Him and walk by the spirit have the right to become God.
1 John 5:
11And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
c 14And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.
Here in 1 John whom wrote the Gospel of John says that God has given us eternal life which is found in His Son. Whoever has received the Son has life; who ever does not receive the Son of God has not life. This was written so those who believe in the name of the Son o God may know they have eternal life, and that God hears our prayers; and is there to help us in our trials and tribulations to overcome whatever it is by and through the spirit.
Romans 10:
8But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”
d that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
9that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
Here in Romans we have Paul explaining that if you are believing in the message of the Good news of the Gospel of Christ ~ And are believing in your heart; that Jesus is the Lord, and you believe that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved; (saved to the kingdom of God). For with your heart you believe and are justified by your mouth which is a confession from the heart of the person whom is believing in their heart about the things of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Colossian 1:9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Here we have Paul explaining to the Colossians : We continue to pray for you; We continue to ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will, through the wisdom and the Spirit that is given (by God - Romans 5:1-5): To be strengthened with all power according to his glorious might that you may have great endurance and patience. Giving joy thanks to the Father, who has qualified you (the believer) to share in the inheritance of his holy people and into the kingdom of Light.
For God has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son ~ Whom God Loves, and in Jesus Christ which we redemption, and forgiveness of sins.
1 John 4:20 If a man say, “I love God,” and hateth his brother, he is a liar. For he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
Thank you for having the discussion with me; you have a good one and take care.
