Why do people love this topic so much?

God is not a person a human being. God is a spirit, Consuming Fire, and is love.
God was in and through Jesus Christ - > whom was the expressed image of the invisible God. The disciples whom seen Jesus Christ - seen God's character by and through God's Son. (The Fathers Son).
The Holy Spirit is not a human being. A spirit is not a human like flesh and bones.
The Word of God is the Word of God - IT is not a person.... until The Word Became a person ` which was born in Flesh and dwelt among earth. The Word then being born was named Jesus. Jesus Christ was baptized and the holy spirit of God came upon the Lord. Jesus Christ and God were One. People Could see Jesus Christ and see the nature of God by and through Him -> Jesus never sinned.

More and more HERESY being posted on here!!!

In early Christianity, the beliefs that were held concerning God and Christ were very simple. God the Father was said to be the source of all being (unbegotten) whilst Christ was believed to be the only begotten Son of God. The letters of John particularly express this simple better. It was believed that God the Father created all things through Christ (Ephesians 3:9).
In the 4th century these beliefs took on a different complexion. Instead of staying solely with what the Scriptures reveal, the church, into its beliefs, introduced speculation. This was done at the Council of Nicaea where a creed was formulated saying that the Father and the Son were of the ‘one and the same substance’ therefore were inseparable. Later in AD 381, the Holy Spirit was included in this ‘one substance’ theory thereby producing a teaching not found in Scripture. This of course is the doctrine of the trinity. Eventually, ‘the church’ progressed into a fully developed apostasy from what the Scriptures say and became what we now know as the Roman Catholic Church.
If the Father and Son are truly inseparable, then Jesus never died. The Trinity in it's formulaic traditional presentation that claims a consubstantial nature for the Godhead, denies the atonement.

Why does it make you upset if someone has a different view than yourself, @ByGraceThroughFaith ? Do I have live by your standard and how you see things, for me to be okay?

This forum does not have to conform to your church's man made dogmas. It isn't a Catholic forum.

This thread is about The Holy Trinity. Whether people like you belive in what the Bible says, that God IS One being in Three distinct Persons, matters ZERO! The TRUTH does not change with HERETICAL opinions of some, who think that they know better than God Himself.

That does not answer my question, @ByGraceThroughFaith . Do I have to follow you, and live by what you believe is heresy? Are you trying to fight against others for the sake of what you see or what you believe is the right way, and not allow others to have freedom to think differently? Are you someone with authority that as the right to try and have dominion over people and their faith in God and Jesus Christ the Lord?

…43You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘Hate your enemy.’ 44But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

THE reason that I post on here, is through LOVE for those in error, to save their souls from certain eternal punishment for rejecting Biblical Teaching on The Holy Trinity. Whether anyone believes it or not, the Truth of the Bible stands, that NO person who rejects the Teaching of the Bible, that God is One Being, eternally in Three distinct Persons, is a Christian in the Bible sense, or going to heaven. This is FACT, not my personal opinion.

I believe that is your personal opinion. But okay, @ByGraceThroughFaith. Because the fact of the matter is that anyone who believes on the name of the Son of God has eternal life, anyone who believes in their heart God raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead shall be saved to the kingdom heaven. Also believe that anyone who says that they love God yet hate another person is still wandering in darkness.

So you can say that is has to do with the "Trinity" and that you are soul winning by using that as a definition, why not instead teach and share about the lessons of Christ Jesus? How He told us to love, have mercy, forgiveness, and these things instead of worry about if someone believes your way or not, that is my question, but you do what you feel is needed.

Here are the scriptures to back up what the bible claims:

John 1:12: Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--

Anyone who receives Jesus and believe in Him and walk by the spirit have the right to become God.

1 John 5:11And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.13I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.c 14And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.

Here in 1 John whom wrote the Gospel of John says that God has given us eternal life which is found in His Son. Whoever has received the Son has life; who ever does not receive the Son of God has not life. This was written so those who believe in the name of the Son o God may know they have eternal life, and that God hears our prayers; and is there to help us in our trials and tribulations to overcome whatever it is by and through the spirit.

Romans 10:8But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”d that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

Here in Romans we have Paul explaining that if you are believing in the message of the Good news of the Gospel of Christ ~ And are believing in your heart; that Jesus is the Lord, and you believe that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved; (saved to the kingdom of God). For with your heart you believe and are justified by your mouth which is a confession from the heart of the person whom is believing in their heart about the things of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossian 1:9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Here we have Paul explaining to the Colossians : We continue to pray for you; We continue to ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will, through the wisdom and the Spirit that is given (by God - Romans 5:1-5): To be strengthened with all power according to his glorious might that you may have great endurance and patience. Giving joy thanks to the Father, who has qualified you (the believer) to share in the inheritance of his holy people and into the kingdom of Light.

For God has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son ~ Whom God Loves, and in Jesus Christ which we redemption, and forgiveness of sins.

1 John 4:20 If a man say, “I love God,” and hateth his brother, he is a liar. For he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Thank you for having the discussion with me; you have a good one and take care.

Jesus Himself warns in John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins". The I AM here is what Jesus says in verse 58, "Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”. That is, before Abraham even existed, I AM. That is, the SAME I AM in Exodus 3:14, I AM YAHWEH. The Eternal God. If a person does not believe that Jesus Christ IS The Great I AM, they can NEVER ever get to heaven. These are the Words of God Incarnate!

Maybe we can allow each other to believe what we believe, and in the context of friendship, express what we believe to be correct? Maybe that way we could be like steel, sharpening off of one another? Our intent may be fine; our technique may need a little refining. I'm speaking to myself first.

You are so VERY WRONG
What specifically? I said a lot of things in that post. It's very easy to sit in your lazy boy chair and pronounce, "you're wrong" , while the government lights the funeral pyre under my feet. Of you really cared about my welfare and eternal destiny, I would have thought you would testify to how I am wrong, and the clear biblical case supporting your argument.
Thus far, all your bold pronouncements of "heresy"... "You're going to hell"..."you aren't a true Christian"..."you must believe what I believe the Bible teaches"... Are nothing but empty words.

Ok. @ByGraceThroughFaith may Gods purpose be done in and through you by the spirit of Christ, according to the will of God which is to pray, be thankful, and live that way.

Christian Living

12But we ask you, brothers, to acknowledge those who work diligently among you, who preside over you in the Lord and give you instruction. 13In love, hold them in highest regard because of their work. Live in peace with one another.14And we urge you, brothers, to admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, and be patient with everyone.15Make sure that no one repays evil for evil. Always pursue what is good for one another and for all people.16Rejoice at all times. 17Pray without ceasing. 18Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.19Do not extinguish the Spirit. 20Do not treat prophecies with contempt, 21but test all things. Hold fast to what is good. 22Abstain from every form of evil.

Take care.

I agree Jesus Christ is the I am.

Okay now what? - that is all you gotta ask a person really though : Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the I am? - Meaning that He is the Word of God - The Son of God : made flesh. That He is from above, that He came in the Flesh.

That is all it relating to though. It's not a terribly hard concept to make apparent.

What now? What am I to do now?

I AM equals that Jesus Christ IS Almighty God. Otherwise He is a created being. Which do you believe?

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord God Almighty but not the Father God Almighty.

So guess we have a fundamental disagreement and people who are hard pressed on the issue seem to bother me because of my past history run in with how hard pressed people really are on this whole trinity business.

Me expressing believing Jesus Christ is the I am - from above - is not enough.
Me expressing myself as in Loving God, and trying to Love you is very difficult ; because this topic is annoying as hell to me but I made the conscience decisions to open my mouth about it.

- shrugs shoulders. I dont give a damn about anyone trying to probe what I believe cause ill tell you but to tell me I am not a Christian is far from your authority to do so @ByGraceThroughFaith

Jesus Christ IS Yahweh. The Father IS Yhaweh. The Holy Spirit IS Yahweh. One Godhead, Three Distinct Coequal Persons.

How is knowing any of those things helping me in my relationship with God; Ill tell you ; you telling me that over and over and over again is not helpful. You are not edifying me in any way, about love, hope, mercy, forgiveness. ~ Walks away.
