I can't speak for another poster, by in my experience must "anti-cult" preachers have only studied their "anti-cult" own materials. They preach against Catholicism, but seldom have ever actually attended a Catholic mass and listened to Catholic people tell them about their love of Christ, let alone done a thorough respectful study (witness the various sacraments, Holy Week, attend RCIA, etc). Likewise they've seldom (if ever) actually attended a LDS Sacrament Meeting or a at a Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, listening to folks love of Christ and actually seeing an individual's love & faith of Christ.

I'm a freaky person whom is actually extremely passionate about going to different traditions and spending months studying each and listening to folks share their faith ( everybody has a dorky hobby, this is mine :) ). And yes, on EVERY SINGLE pew I have found each of the following (you can be in multiple of the below):
- Individuals whom truly deeply love Christ and have great faith in Him.
- Individuals whom are just serving as bench warmers and have little faith.
- Individuals picking their nose
- Individuals picking on others and sinning against them.
- Individuals whom are great scholars
- Individuals whom are greatly ignorant and arrogant.
Etc.

I'm remotely saying that "differences in doctrine don't matter we should all just ignore things sing kumba-ya and never develop theology" (I PASSIONATELY DISAGREE with that stance ). But as a disciple of Christ it is my job to see each individual person Christ loved enough to die for-- the least I can do is spend a few hours with that person to love them, listening, and sharing His love.

Much Like You, I have done the same, not as a Hobby but as a part of a college Paper for Sociology of Religion. We had to attend and discuss J.W.'s services and digest their writings Speak with the members of their congregation etc. What was initially shocking to me was how similar they were to the good folks at the Baptist church I was raised at, they sang the same songs, with similar lyrics, the program was much the same of the service itself, and the people were just as friendly and welcoming as the church i grew up in.

That, However, was the surface. That is the desire and intent of these sorts of religions and it is not just a "cult" problem this surface religion vs. what is done behind the scenes to manipulate and distort the message of Scripture and the Word of God is ultimately what matters. Many of the People who were and are members are trapped by this manipulation of Nicolaitans Not Just JW's but also Mormons, Catholics, Calvinists and even Baptists and fundamentalists. It is a concept Known as Mystical manipulation and it is not just a "cult problem" It is a Human problem.

That being said, This Post is not intended as a "contending for the faith" discussion. If I was looking for that I would have posted this in the Apologetics forum, But this is about Prophecy, about the end time unity of the Spirit Which is what counters the Babylon that we see so prevalent in the church. This is an effort to show that Unity of the Spirit is built upon the fulness of Christ, and that the division we see in the church is symptomatic of a malady of Intellectual Hubris among the People who have approached scripture using the carnal mind as opposed to being Spirit taught, and this Babylon mindset has infiltrated the leadership in the churches and is making proselytes of Babylon filling the pews of the congregations.

When Unity of the Spirit and the fulness of Christ comes there is not compromise, no heresy will survive the presence of the Truth, all the Mimics the devil has created will fall by the wayside, all the dross of man's teaching and the products of the will of man will be exposed for what they are. But before all this can happen, the church needs to see that they are promoting Babylon by NOT being taught by the Spirit. Until the church as whole sees that they are sick, and need of More of Jesus, They will continue perpetuating Babylon. Self deception, Manipulation, and all the false religions on the world feed on this mindset, and it is this that we the Laodiceans must overcome, as the "Amen" church age. (Revelation 3:14-22)

To myself the choice is clear, we can continue where we are at and head into more and more confusion and Babylon, Or we can see the Problem and acknowledge where it stems from and grow in Christ By His Spirit, Not by Power or might.

Wherever the message of the Unity of the Spirit is Spoken, there is soon to follow the accusers of ecumenism as we have seen here.... The devil hates this message, and he will try to distort it and malign it. People also will be leary of it because of fear, fear of the unknown a loss of security which the institutional church and its traditions and doctrines provide, and if you are in this boat know that what I am proposing here is a stepping off the cliff of certainty into the open arms of an almighty Savior waiting for you to take this proverbial leap of faith, Yes there is uncertainty as this is not the milk of doctrine but the meat that we must learn to digest. It is my Hope and prayer that This will be the True church's finest hour.

Much Like You, I have done the same, not as a Hobby but as a part of a college Paper for Sociology of Religion. We had to attend and discuss J.W.'s services and digest their writings Speak with the members of their congregation etc. What was initially shocking to me was how similar they were to the good folks at the Baptist church I was raised at, they sang the same songs, with similar lyrics, the program was much the same of the service itself, and the people were just as friendly and welcoming as the church i grew up in.

That, However, was the surface. That is the desire and intent of these sorts of religions and it is not just a "cult" problem this surface religion vs. what is done behind the scenes to manipulate and distort the message of Scripture and the Word of God is ultimately what matters. Many of the People who were and are members are trapped by this manipulation of Nicolaitans Not Just JW's but also Mormons, Catholics, Calvinists and even Baptists and fundamentalists. It is a concept Known as Mystical manipulation and it is not just a "cult problem" It is a Human problem.

That being said, This Post is not intended as a "contending for the faith" discussion. If I was looking for that I would have posted this in the Apologetics forum, But this is about Prophecy, about the end time unity of the Spirit Which is what counters the Babylon that we see so prevalent in the church. This is an effort to show that Unity of the Spirit is built upon the fulness of Christ, and that the division we see in the church is symptomatic of a malady of Intellectual Hubris among the People who have approached scripture using the carnal mind as opposed to being Spirit taught, and this Babylon mindset has infiltrated the leadership in the churches and is making proselytes of Babylon filling the pews of the congregations.

When Unity of the Spirit and the fulness of Christ comes there is not compromise, no heresy will survive the presence of the Truth, all the Mimics the devil has created will fall by the wayside, all the dross of man's teaching and the products of the will of man will be exposed for what they are. But before all this can happen, the church needs to see that they are promoting Babylon by NOT being taught by the Spirit. Until the church as whole sees that they are sick, and need of More of Jesus, They will continue perpetuating Babylon. Self deception, Manipulation, and all the false religions on the world feed on this mindset, and it is this that we the Laodiceans must overcome, as the "Amen" church age. (Revelation 3:14-22)

To myself the choice is clear, we can continue where we are at and head into more and more confusion and Babylon, Or we can see the Problem and acknowledge where it stems from and grow in Christ By His Spirit, Not by Power or might.

Wherever the message of the Unity of the Spirit is Spoken, there is soon to follow the accusers of ecumenism as we have seen here.... The devil hates this message, and he will try to distort it and malign it. People also will be leary of it because of fear, fear of the unknown a loss of security which the institutional church and its traditions and doctrines provide, and if you are in this boat know that what I am proposing here is a stepping off the cliff of certainty into the open arms of an almighty Savior waiting for you to take this proverbial leap of faith, Yes there is uncertainty as this is not the milk of doctrine but the meat that we must learn to digest. It is my Hope and prayer that This will be the True church's finest hour.

- Another obvious thing: JW and Baptists have different beliefs. Same with Methodists, and every other group you can name. There a differences in theology and they are important.
