Take Adam and Eve for instance I believe they did not even know they had a body. Really wasn't necessary anyway because they were innocent, no nature of any kind. Until they partook of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil they were not aware they even had a body.
When that mind of Adam and Eve became a; joined together body, it became the body of death. Once the realization they were in a body now - there has been a mismatch - trouble hell on earth whatever you can call it it exists in plain sight for all to see we have a chaotic world craziness exists in this world, ever since that day.
That day the Commandment given by God not to eat from this tree and that command was disobeyed according to Romans 7 and this world has been in a tailspin ever since and since that day the body of death came into being those bodies at knew know death - now death ruled and reigned by one man - even Adam, Romans 5.
Adam was not deceived, the woman was - which means he had to violate the knowledge he had in order to disobey what God had told him not to do.
In that dispensation of Innocence ( man's label ) Adam and Eve did not know who God was; meaning they walked in the cool of the day, they communicated they had fellowship so to say - whatever it was, they did not realize God had created them, they did not realize they had a body.
Adam and Eve had never seen death. Nothing around them ever died. Whatever was in their little world, they had never experienced death not even a bug - no other creature. Even with the knowledge of Good and Evil, they had never experienced death. So the moment their eyes opened up, we can see they didn't even know death had came to them all they knew was they were in a body and that body was naked and they were ashamed! and God covered them. They didn't even know the knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve were innocent and by the corruption of one, now corruption of all. The seed of corruption; that corruptible seed Peter says has entered into this world and by it sin evil exposed as sin.
How was Eve deceived by the serpent? Answer is; she didn't know who the devil was she had never experienced death - lieing - deception. Adam and Eve didn't even know what death was, they were innocent victims, taken advantage of by that innocence. The liar from the beginning - the murderer from the beginning, was now in that corruptible seed by knowledge. Even the knowledge of Good and Evil.
Neither one had any concept of God or the devil they were innocent. Do you know what the law does? it revealed sin - it didn't reveal God it revealed sin.
The woman was deceived, do you have any understanding on why the woman was deceived - I didn't know for years! it is a recent revelation that the serpent Satan - Lucifer himself went after the woman because he was after the seed if he could corrupt the seed then all Humanity would be corrupted by that one seed. By Adam now; sin entered into the world by one man Adam, sin entered into the world simply by deception. Have you noticed that the - deceiving lieing seed still exists in humanity and in the born again. In all of creation, that lieing deceiving seed still exists.
Be it the mind in born-again believers - but that seed was planted, and by that seed you and I have to deal with now as believers. It is the old mind syndrome of the corrupted seed by the knowledge of Good and Evil.
So the more you know about the law the more you are going to sin
The law is a stumbling block! how does that work? because you are so sin conscience struggling wrestling fighting with the law that Christ has no chance Christ in you does not have a chance in you. Under the law you have to watch everything you do even your thoughts you have to guard everything you do the law exposed sin - when exposed to sin you will sin - according to the scriptures - that is why the law came into existence to expose sin. Moses gives the great sermon when he came down from Mount Zion because now sin could be exposed. Moses; the Ten Commandments were brought down out of the mountain to expose sin. The great message of Moses but the greater the greatest the greatest of all Paul delivers to the humanity and born again Christ in you the hope of glory the destroyer, annihilator, emancipator - of that corruptible seed. Glory to Jesus - Glory to God - Glory to the Spirit of God for revealing it now for all creation to see - it has been written for all to see, sin has been exposed. By the Spirit; you shall know.
So you must know the mind must be renewed; because without the unrenewed mind, that body is still death by knowledge- the knowledge of Good and Evil. Bless you saints - open your mind's eye to the things of God. Allow this mind be in you, allow the Spirit to teach you. You have no need that any man should teach you.
