In the new covenant, you get the promises you believe in, be it salvation, or physical healing, or God talking to you as a Father talks to his son.
I like the above - but let's not actually remember that our faith is in Jesus Christ!!
So our faith is not in healing, but the healer!!!
Our faith is not in salvation, but the savior!!!
Our faith is not even in hearing but the living Word of God who speaks to us!
He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood and His name is called "The Word of God" (Rev 19:13)
The Christ also goes by other names. We usually called Him Jesus, because that means God's Salvation.
We could call Him Healer, because that is what He does. Isaiah said He would be called Wonderful Counselor, The Might God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. King Solomon had name for Him like understanding, Wisdom, and such. The point is that we are not trying to believe in His attributes but in Him who has those attributes. So we seek a person, The Son of God, who is the Christ.
He is the promise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The covenant then is between you and Him, personally. And for many that is a new covenant, but is also the same type covenant that Abram made with Him a long time ago.
Gen 15:6 Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.
Gen 15:18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,
“To your descendants I have given this land,
From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:"
Of course with our covenant with Him we get a Kingdom given to us. His Kingdom. The Kingdom of God for us and our descendants. And the Kingdom of God is in our midst. So if we believe in Him, the King, we get access to Him and His Kingdom, a Kingdom of power. Never-the-less we believe in Him, the King, and not even the Kingdom.
I write this because too often I see Christians seeking after healing, instead of the healer, and if we are seeking healing instead of the healer what is He going to give us? Perhaps He will heal you, but miss out on the Kingdom, because didn't seek Him but some particular gift of His.
He did most of His miracles recorded in the Bible around the sea of Galilee, but then later told those cities that if the miracle performed in them had been done in Sodom they would still be there to this day. They sought after the miracles instead of Him!!! HUGE MISTAKE!!!
