You have a choice? Is there more than one new covenant, more than one savior?Another words There is a reason I'm not Catholic I don't agree .....
But the act of redemption is ....if you would read EPHESIANS you will see that....He saved you from being dead in sin....and made you alive with Christ...without being born from above you could not be Justified.....Eph 2 is about new Birth/regeneration....
I read the title, the point I believe she is making is He died for all, but not all receiveRead my posts and show me how please
eph 2 refers to redemption not justification or salvation
The Baptism I believe it's speaking of is an actual clear conscience before God...1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church (the ark of salvation) none are saved!)
I do not agree...Baptism is required for salvation Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38
Let's look at more of the passage. I will high light some key words or phrases.1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

That has nothing to do with it...Just dont agree that's why I am not Catholic.....Catholic to me is a denomination because of it's views...like the one on Baptism.......You have a choice? Is there more than one new covenant, more than one savior?
Why would you not think of redemption as salvatore
The Baptism I believe it's speaking of is an actual clear conscience before God...
Go to Hebrew 9:14, and Hebrews 10:4
I do not agree...
I was Baptized not because it saved me..
For recall the things that are seen are temporary...[water Baptism is seen] The things unseen are eternal.
That has nothing to do with it...Just dont agree that's why I am not Catholic.....Catholic to me is a denomination because of it's views...like the one on Baptism.......
Regardless of what the word means it is still a denomination I do not agree with ....
So after you read the title you refuse to read the post ? I explain my title, you not interested, right ?I read the title, the point I believe she is making is He died for all, but not all receive
Therefore that is how one can say it without exception.
So the questions- whose Baptism saves us now?Let's look at more of the passage. I will high light some key words or phrases.
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
I WILL BE BACK MAYBE TO EXPLAIN AFTER I MEDITATE ON THE PASSAGE...
I read the post when I first came on...so of course I was interested...So after you read the title you refuse to read the post ? I explain my title, you not interested, right ?

His life death and resurrection
Jn 1:29
justification is by faith and baptism
Mk 16;16 acts 8:36-38
salvation begins at the hour of death for those who are faithful
Jn 15:1 matt 24:13
