Jesus is always ready to cover us, but so many insist on following their own heads instead of taking His Head as their own. What was the lesson of John the Baptist?

That's not the point. You keep missing the point.
The point is, even in regard to a true apostle of God discerning that his message is truth is still the purview of the believer himself via the Holy Spirit, not someone outside of himself. Even the apostles challenged their audiences to judge for themselves if what they say is true - 1 Corinthians 10:15, 1 Corinthians 11:13, Acts of the Apostles 4:19.

Ministers are very simply servants. When anyone comes to the Lord, he is supposed to be a servant and thus a minister.

Ministers in the biblical sense, I believe, are servants. Two different words with the same meaning.

You need to define your terms instead of presuming that everyone here has the same understanding of words that you do.

Then again you mix most everything up when you name yourself as Catholic but deny the authority of the hierarchy under the Pope Francis. You speak of there being apostles today, who are supposedly the successors of Peter, who walked with Jesus 2,000 years ago. If not Francis, then who is it that you look to as an apostle today?

Without explaining it more clearly, why do you expect people who have never been Catholic or who, like myself, have been gone from formal Catholicism for many years to jump on your bandwagon?

Not necessarily . This just means that evil is trapped in our flesh . But no worries , GOD wont let us enteratain those thoughts
without conviction and leading us away from said thoughts . WHEN i say the HOLY GHOST IS real . I mean HE IS real .
You should have seen the monster i was before Christ . Yet even then most folks would have thought or said , What a nice man .
OH sure i could be very nice and even very well mannered , SO CAN MANY SINNERS and even many false religoins .
BUT ONLY JESUS is the one that can truly save and change a man .
Evil will always be present within our flesh , but this does not make us of babylone . What makes us OF babylone
IS WHOM WE SERVE . DO we continue in the evil , or do we reject the evil the flesh pops into our mind .
The HOLY GHOST is truly real . Though most think its a goose bump that feeds the flesh and fleshly emotions .
But oh NOT it dont . IT corrects us when those thoughts pop into our head . But how many have QUENCHED THE SPIRIT
or DID they ever have it to begin with . ME THINKS that is the better question to be asked .

God won't let us entertain such thoughts if we never quench the Spirit of God in us. Most people today do. For this reason Apostle Paul warns us: "Quench not the Spirit!" The authority is still ours and when we foolishly retain hold on it instead continuing to give it God, we sin!

It is present in us until we overcome it by the power of the Holy Ghost in us. Can get out of this world of temptation before we physically die like Jesus did?

"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world,.." John 17:11

Jesus had been in the world of temptation until he overcame the last temptation, which he did before he died on the cross. Can we do that? Alone, we cannot, but with the help of God in us, what is impossible?
